It's Definitely Worth 60 Seconds Every Day
Enterntaining, educational and easy to listen to!!!!
Fast tidbit of science
I listened to the original weekly version of the Science Update podcast. When the AAAS first introduced the daily edition, I avoided it, assuming it was basically the weekly edition broken down into the topic segments. I was not correct in this assumption, but I was not fully wrong either. There is some overlap of topics, however there is variation between the two podcasts, so it is worth listening to both. For one minute each day, getting just a bit of interesting science, either as news or as an answer to a listener's question, is time well spent. Due to the length, science teachers could start class with a science update podcast, to start discussion on a topic. Families can listen. This podcast is from the American Association for the Advancement of Science, after all. The goal of the organization is to promote science understanding among the masses. As a scientist, I enjoy this podcast, but I think it is a fun little podcast for anyone.
Great
