Wish it cont’d
Wish it continued but it’s a good podcast!
Best of both - folklore and facts!
I just listened to the Glencoe podcast - what a fantastic combination of dramatization (“imagine you’re lying in bed, with your baby in the crib beside and two soldiers just beyond the blanket curtain...”) to help us understand the lore, followed by an excellent explanation of the political context that led up to the events and the political impact eventually felt by the events. My friends and I leave for 2 weeks in Scotland soon, and this really helped the history of the Glencoe, Loch Ness, Fort William area come alive for me! I only wish that you had more spare time to produce more of these, but am so grateful that you share your hobby with us!
Worth the wait.
After a three years of no updates the latest episode is one of the best history podcast I've heard. I hope the next one isn't such a long wait.
