Olen Griffin is one of the most insightful and inspiring pastors I've ever heard in my life. Well worth your time to give it a listen.

This church is on FIRE!

You could practically sweep up with a grocers basket their words of encouragement. And funny! Nathan Watkins is a knee-slapper, when speaks he causes roaring laughter! You should check him out 'cuz he's like EF Hutton! He's related to two of the pastors there so we know where he gets it. They just moved from what looked like a cottage to a huge 'commercial warehouse' type building LOL! They have this baptist-style 'open door' theology like back in the good old days. If you're ever in the area and need a word of defense, need to be set free of something, or word of just plain 'hiya doin?" look them up. They're a straight shot north on Carrier. Warning: it will be easy to get addicted to them unfortunately you will not want to leave. If you see Gary Benjamin, one of their associates, stop on by and call him cousin, that's his nickname. He loves to talk about baseball and movies! Gary! I can't send you any emails anymore your inbox is full! You've been running around making sure everything's set haven't ya lol? Live long and prosper there, soldier! The church exists as a "helper" entity with a very hospitable staff who, when asked, will bring you a cup of coffee upon mention in the name of their savior. The woodgrain style on the interior echoes Medici-flavor Italian renaissance.

This ministry is the epitome of
"Passion For God, Compassion For People" as it's motto states. The love that is genuinely given by the pastoral staff and the Sr. Pastor Jon Dunn all the way down to the Ushers, prayer teams, Prophetic Teams Etc, demonstrates the true meaning of a child of God. Loving God because He first loved us and loving others as we love ourselves. It is not what you do, but who you are! Come and visit this Church- shady grove.org and experience it for yourself!
