To their surprise, they recovered artifacts as far back as May of 2002 (which I believe is one of their first recording sessions under the duo's moniker). While poking and prodding around, they also found some unreleased material that has been simmering on a low heat since about 2004. San Francisco's Siladi Records' monthly podcast, as curated by Circuit73, never fails to satisfy my appetite for new musical flavours. Consistently served up with a thoughtful presentation and often time featuring guest artists, the Siladi podcast often features unexpected musical content, admittedly most of which I wouldn't otherwise expose myself to. The results are often whimsical, and always pleasant. One of the few pod-casts I look forward to every time.
Consistently Pleasing
The Siladi podcast consistently pleases and surprises. Mood is set, then advanced. American history, european artistry, dub, jazz, hip hop, pop ... it's all covered. Go back and fetch them all. No music podcast has yet satisfied as well as this.
