Episode 194 - The Final Girls

Episode 194 - The Final Girls

This week's episode opens with a major announcement before Mike, Ted, and Dave jump into a review of the horror-comedy/80's slasher movie love-fest The Final Girls. This is a very special, stripped down episode with no Mike's News or anything else. Hope you enjoy it, and thanks for listening.

Episode 193 - The Green Inferno

Episode 193 - The Green Inferno

It's finally here! After a long trek through the jungle of distribution hell, Eli Roth's The Green Inferno is finally ready for us to feast on, and boy were the guys ravenous to taste its many delights (except for Ted). Will this be an epicurean delight or fodder for Pepto Bismol. Only listening will answer that question for you. And remember to stick around to the very end for a special segment where Ted gives us his review of the movie too!

Episode 191 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Episode 191 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers

This show starts with a surprising and unfortunate MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT about the show, so please tune in for that.  Then, the show begins and Slashercast covers the horror news that annoys them this week and they discuss the filmography of Wes Craven in light of his passing.  The review this week was Dave's pick, and he chose the Sci-Fi Horror Classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers from 1978.

    Episode 190 - Harbinger Down

This week, the guys give you a review of what's touted as a solely practical effect movie, Harbinger Down, but the guys think something smells fishy there, and it's not just the crabs on the boat. Plus, you get Mike's News and a special list and some fond memorable memories to close things out. Not to be missed!

    Episode 189 - They Live

    Episode 189 - They Live

This week, on a very special episode of SlasherCast, the guys exploit mourn the loss of Rowdy Roddy Piper by watching and reviewing the John Carpenter classic about aliens hiding among us (spoiler alert) They Live. This leads to some very prescient and surprising discussions about the greater meanings and implications the movie has, even for our modern world. It's a bit mind-blowing.

Great

Been listening from the very beginning. The show is still as great as it always has been. The guys have good all-around discussions of horror. It's a really entertaining show.

This Podcast Will Be Missed

Thankfully there's a large catalog of back episodes. My favorite moments are 2 stories unrelated to the movie reviews. 1 - Mike and his misfortune on Who wants to be a millionaire. 2 - Ted and the Cookie Monster. Good luck guys.

Tired of jaded horror "fans"

Listened to a podcast and it's so depressing. Dave and Nick are so rude to the other host. Every idea and movie he talks about they shoot down. I wouldn't really call what they do reviews or news seeing as they don't give anything a chance.
