Good first effort
I enjoyed this new podcast very much; however, I think you missed a very important step. You never actually defined what a preposition is. Or what you use one with. Or where the word comes from. Sorry... cheap thrills.
To be serious. You should have introduced this podcast, and it's subject, with a clear definition. Since I hope that you are speaking to each potential listener, not just the erudite, articulate masses, it seems only fair that the ragged seekers of lexicographic enlightenment should be fairly armed.

This is very intriguing subject matter which is sadly very much neglected these days. I would love to see this become a regular show. Please keep them coming!
Promises to be one of the great Slate podcasts
A wonderful idea for a podcast, perfectly executed. Bob and Mike have fantastic rapports right from the very first episode, so the banter-- possibly the most important ingredient in any podcast, in my opinion-- is already great and is sure to get even better. I'm always on the lookout for podcasts that educate and entertain in equal measure, and this is certainly one of the very best I've found.
