It's A Grande Ol' (Wisconsin) Flag | Much as been made of the Wisconsin State Flag's definition. Personally I will broadcast this message to Scott Walker until it kills me; to take a good hard look at the symbolism included in the embroidery. Could it be that he's dreaming up a way to manufacture them in a minimum wage production facility? It's time that we design a state flag that truly represents Wisconsin's status for the last 365 days. Unfortunately, Tonette Walker's silhouette was not one of your suggestions. This podcast sponsored by Wisconsin Local 1848. I know you're listening. | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Alabama parents punish child for chocolate binge | This seems to be the year of abusive parents. We've got Madison's model family with the girl living in the dungeon, and now we have a case of Willy Wonka vs Mommy and Daddy. | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Ryan Braun cleared, thanks to representation | There are two things that right-wing tea-bagged Republicans hate: Lawyers and Unions. They take a look at a Wisconsin legend who's been cleared of doping charges by the MLB, and they cheer. What they don't think about is what made his successful defense possible. Maybe, for a moment, Wisconsin will come together when the "U" word gets pitched. | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Graeme Zielinski: Koch Ad Funding | The man who called Brian McKenna, well..., Brian McKenna, on Wisconsin Public Radio tells us how Scott Walker's claim that his opposition is funded primarily by out-of-state unions is 100% b******t and hypocrisy. | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Glenn Grothman: STOP THE ATTACK ON MEN IN WISCONSIN | That isn't a witty headline for this post, it's a quote of the Republican State Senator from West Bend, who is supporting legislation that would make it tough for women to get fair treatment in the workplace. Here's the video of Glenn from '09 making his masculine plea for help: I also ask Glenn about Tommy Thompson's radical transformation, from a governor who worked with state employees, to a monster US Senate candidate. | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Anne Sayers: Stop The Mine | Anne Sayers, Program Director for The Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters did a GREAT interview today, pointing out some things that I didn't know about the iron mine that I support in the name of jobs and preserving Wisconsin's industrial revenue. This is not your average eco-nut that just spews environmental talking points. But, I don't think she drives a Suburban. It's most definitely true that we shouldn't expect any union jobs out of this thing. www.conservationvoters.org | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Mark Pocan: Rounding up our recall contenders | It was a year ago today when the State Assembly passed the outrageous budget repair bill, and Mark relives the moment with us. History was made. | 2/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Mike Konopacki: How politics killed free speech at the University of Wisconsin | The University of Wisconsin has taken politics to the wrong neighborhood, by removing a union labor exhibit. On top of that, the School for Workers has almost no funding left, while the UW School of Business gets a new wing every couple of days. | 2/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Paul Ryan: Meet Rob Zerban | from www.robzerban.com: Republicans are punishing working families during this recession. Congress needs a new direction and a new plan. I created two successful small businesses and over 45 jobs, so I know what it takes to get this economy moving again. I wrote responsible budgets for my business that didn't leave my employees behind, and I know I can do a better job. | 2/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Protesting Paul Ryan's Disregard For Women | Tomorrow, protesters will decsend on Paul Ryan's district office to prove their point: that birth control pills aren't life takers, but life savers, in many more ways than Elizabeth Martiniak's own personal example. | 2/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Hidden Camera captures Joel Kleefisch pushing his neighbors voting buttons | TRUE VOTER FRAUD: Joel Kleefisch casually reaches across to cast an immoral electronic absentee vote in the Assembly. It appears that he even got a couple pats on the back. Remember when the Fab 14 headed south to stop the vote on Act 10? It's a wonder that this didn't happen across party lines. This is why cameras need to be rolling through each and every session. And this after Votor ID? Here's what we did at 8:00 And... the man who shot the video, Arthur Kohl Riggs of S**t Scott Walker Is Doing To My State | 2/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Whitney Houston: DEAD | Has humanity had enough? Whitney's last photograph was of her lying in rigor mortis, and the crazies from ET, every tabloid in the universe, and yes even our own newsroom, are going CRAZY. | 2/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

GOP resorts to the Arab card again | Barack Obama's religion is acceptable to no Republican. Why? Because he's a Christian, and they want him to convert to Islam. Is it worth starting another Holy war just to get one of these three stooges in office? Won't be long until the terror threat level gets raised a notch or two. | 2/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

You want the government to be allowed to rape you? | The notion of mandatory "trans-vaginal" ultrasounds for women seeking abortions is forced rape. Lots of phone calls from women on both sides of the issue in this podcast. | 2/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Homeschooling enables child abuse | EVERY child should be separated BY LAW at some point from their parents, (by sending them to school). After all, that 70-pound 15-year-old girl who lived in the basement eating her own feces was headed for Harvard with that one-on-one education at home. It's a one-in-a-million, yet very sobering example of things going wrong. | 2/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

AFSCME's Marty Beil: Old Tommy - New Tommy | If you thought that Tommy G. Thompson was at least somewhat respectful to Union Labor in Wisconsin during his four terms as Governor, you'd be right. Then came Senate candidate Tommy, right in the middle of Fitzwalkerstan, and he's throwing flames at state workers in a low-ball helping hand to Scott Walker in his all-but-inevitable recall election. | 2/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Are Republicans really all that happy with Rick Santorum's hope? | He's trying to drive home the message that Barack Obama is the devil-in-chief. Hey - even threw in a Hitler analogy of sorts. So - if Santorum winds up on the general ballot, and you're a Republican, are you going to hold your breath and vote for Obama? I know you're out there. | 2/21/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Madison is lucky to have Sly
Sly's roots run deep in Madison and even deeper in politics. He's both entertaining and educational, not to mention influential. Excellent program and glad to see it available on iTunes. I've been listening to Sly for many years, starting with his FM days on a rock station. Madison is lucky to have Sly since he has opportunities with a national audience. Keep up the great work!
Excellent!
Sly's show is incredibly refreshing. I stream him every morning on my way to work. Sly is a progressive talk radio host who needs to be heard in Milwaukee.
Handsome sly
Sly is useful tool for the parasitic politicians, lazy government workers, burnt out hippies, pinko professors, unethical UW "physicians," clueless commits, screeching socialists, Jane Fonda wannabes, Wiener perverts, screaming Greenies, angry lesbians, fickle feministas, welfare bums, North Face Trendinistas, World-wide Wealth redistributionists, slobbering Obamaphils, and other chronic malcontents forming huge mobs of the intellectual homeless that comprise of the odious Democratic Party.
