About our participating clergy:
Appointed in 2000 to start a new United Methodist congregation in the East Valley, Rev. Candace Lansberry founded Song of Life, and served as pastor here until moving in 2006 to begin another new church in Las Vegas. In 2008, Candace was appointed North District Superintendent.
Rev. Jeri Wilkerson experienced a call into ministry while actively serving at Song of Life. Jeri was ordained an elder in 2011, and now serves as Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church of Mesa.
Pastor Nina Yardley, a long time member of Song of Life, also heard a call into pastoral ministry here. In 2011 Nina was approved as a local pastor and began serving The Church of the Good Shepherd in Kearney.
Rev. Ron Bartlow was appointed pastor of Song of Life in 2006. His wife, Rev. Lynn Bartlow, also an elder in the United Methodist Church though on family leave, is also active in the ministries of our church.
Rev. Godfrey Ebright, retired, and his wife Lorraine have been active participants at Song of Life since 2008, regularly assisting with worship. Godfrey also leads our Barnabas Prayer Ministry.

The Hebrew and Christian Scriptures particularly emphasize serving who are marginalized or in need. Wesley once shared, "the world is [our] parish." We are called to see that the arena for life as a disciple is not within the walls of the church community, but out among the people of our communities.
