I dig this and will play it at the next party I put on.
Ecclectic samples of great music. Period.
If you like the Gilles Peterson podcasts, try soulmotion as well. Like GP, there is some good stuff that is really to my liking, and other that is less to my taste. But if you have the disposition and ability to suspend musical judgment, you may discover something in these mixes that will offer you auditory pleasure for the length of the track. It takes effort, but discovering good music always does, and if soulmotion takes the arduous effort to put them together, the least you could do is give them a chance. Big Up to the people at soulmotion (whoever they are) for taking the time to mix these and put'em up.
