Great stuff for SF readers
When I read the description of this podcast, I was only mildly interested. I read a lot of SF, but I've never been particularly interested in listening to authors talk about themselves, their writing, their careers, etc. After all, these people are noted for their writing, not their skills at public speaking.
But after listening to just the first few episodes, I'm hooked and eagerly await each new episode. I've heard five episodes so far, and all of them have been fascinating and entertaining. The lecture by Scott Westerfeld, for example, was completely engrossing even though I've never read his work and don't have much interest in it.
And hearing from some old-favorite authors like Robert Silverberg and Isaac Asimov was an even greater pleasure.
Plus the podcast's logo is absolutely the cutest.
