Informative and Entertaining

I count myself somewhat of a Tolkien expert, at least when it comes to the core novels of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, having read the books many times, read some of the supporting material and even some literary criticism about the books. It's evident to me that Father Roderick has done his homework and created an enthralling and enriching podcast. He does not as yet seem to have tapped into the Silmarillion or other supplementary works, but his coverage of the core themes, characters, and symbols present in Lord of the Rings is pretty much spot on. I've even learned a thing or two. I also like his use of the new Lord of the Rings online game as a vehicle for his storytelling and explication. I've recently given up gaming, but the ambiance of the world beautifully augments Father Roderick's melodic voice. I'm looking forward to listening to his future forays into Middle Earth.

Two of my favorites... Fr. Roderick and LOTR!

All of the podcasts from SQPN are pretty good. Fr. Roderick is a whole lot of fun and down to earth..... give it a spin. I also like the Daily Morning Breakfast! Keep up the good work. John-from Omaha!

Excellent Job!

I started out listening too Secrets of the Caribbean and the way Fr. Roderick explains everything in his podcasts made me want to listen to more. His podcasting skills are excellent, and I am looking forward for more podcasts in the future. Being a christian, but not a catholic, I find his ties to Bible stories very interesting and informative. It makes me feel glad that I am getting some Christian values out of listing to a podcast! Keep up the great work Fr. Roderick!
