Killer Podcast

Lovin the podcast. These guys do a great job with it, they keep things fun and entertaining. The bulk of the bad reviews are coming from snobby Starcraft players who think they know better than everyone else, which if that IS you, this will be a boring podcast for you. But for someone like me who isn't very good at RTS games in general, but played the beta and got hooked on it, it's perfect. They provide some good info for people new to the game (like me), and have enough other content to keep things interesting. They have some good breakdowns of strategies that I can't wait to try out and a good amount of tips for helping people get familiar with the game.

Bottom line this is fun and entertaining as I imagine that is the goal they had in mind with it. It's helped me out with my Starcraft skills as I'm assuming it will many more people. Nobody likes a snob and video game snobs tend to be some of the worst. So please pay no mind to the negative reviews, this is a great show.

Fan Freaking Tastic

I think Starcast will begin to rival "The Instance" as the best non-Blizzard Blizzard Game-podcast. These guys don't pretend that their listeners are the pro-players or are fresh out of the box. They hit the right target by giving us mid-level strats, opening up the discussion with personal experience, and really good listener input. The only addition I'd like to hear, and this will probably be more relevant when the game is released, is more talk about using the existing maps, and the map editor. I've seen some really great strats using areas of the map.

GREAT JOB on a fan-freaking-tastic podcast!

sweet
