Lovely podcast, if you love Stephen Fry.....and who doesn't?
Stephen has such a magical relationship with the English language, such that even when he speaks casually about....nothing much... it feels like a wonderful dance. I suppose that's exactly how it felt listening to the first podcast. OK. he did speak about something.... but as he pretty much confesses, it's a stream of consciousness. However as anyone who is familiar with Stephen Fry knowns, his stream of consciousness when verbalised through his own words is usually a marvel to behold. BTW: Leo Laporte (of TWIT podcast) has been seeking to get Stephen Fry on one of the panel shows. Please accept the invitation Mr Fry. It would be a most wondeful geek experience. Dork Talk indeed!
Excellent!
This is NOT as he describes, boring or uninteresting but in fact quite the opposite! It's nice to hear stories of exotic locales and the adventures that come from it from an actor/writer that I personally admire and hope to become. I can't wait until he comes to Ohio on his America trip!
Thanks, Stephen!
It's wonderful to hear your voice and the tales of your travels. We wish you a speedy recovery!
