1 of my most favorite

First of all, I'm not a member of this church and in fact Iive hundreds of miles away and have only heard of it through this podcast. Secondly, although my review title says "1 of my most favorite" podcasts that should be understood to be a truly remarkable thing to me because I subscribe to MANY podcasts. (Not much time for TV or radio any more!) The content of the messages on this podcast are of the highest caliber. I especially love the Puritan Packerback series. I became hooked on this podcast when they were going through John Flavel's _Mystery of Providence_. Words cannot describe the degree to which that series helped me in dealing with tough issues in life, and also what an intellectual joy it was to study "along with" the people who actually attended the class when it was recorded. As a side note comment, I would say the historic content of the podcast has value potentially to all listeners no matter what their religious beliefs are, if any. To me, however, it has great biblical, spiritual, and historical value, which is why I love the podcast so very much. My thanks to the people at Stillwater on how well the individual messages are tagged with info in iTunes and on my iPod, so that the classes, sermons, passages, and Puritan works are easily identified. There is nothing so sad to see on a podcast as a poor and unhelpful info tag, but Stillwater labels them well in my opinion. SRPC, please, please continue this podcast for a long time to come!

Sola Deo Gloria

Though personally a member of this church, I really appreciate being able to get this teaching when I have to be away. There are many good churches out there but to find one that is excellent in that the preaching is of the entire Word of God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, is truly a rare gem. I have been personally blessed to hear the word explained so that children can understand it, with a depth that applies even to Bible scholars and every believer, and a warmth that is evidence of true life and joy. Man's chief and highest end is to glorify God and fully to enjoy Him forever and this church takes that very seriously and reverently, and adoringly, for which I am very grateful.

Very thankful for this study

I am not a member of this particular Church, but have throughly enjoyed the session going through the Larger Catechism and recommended it to my Church. We are currently going through the confession in my Church sunday school.
