Podcast Description

TEAM JACK is the podcast that gets you so close to the movies, you can lick them. Full-time film freak Jack Morrissey, his pal Greg, and special guests from around Hollywood talk movies: what's new and good, old and great, and old but still really terrible.

Customer Reviews

The only Morrissey I'll ever listen to!!!

The first time Jack was on Plus One Per Diem, I had no idea who he was, what he did, etc. but was quickly riveted by his delivery, humor, and fount of useless & fascinating knowlege! Not too mention his own interesting & candid insights into Hollywood and life there. I literally wanted to hear more about the farmers market scene in L.A. So glad Kev got Jack to do a show of his own!
This will be be one of the top dowbloaded casts on the SModcast network, and if there's justice, on iTunes! Love it! Download it now!!!

Has Potential...

After listening to Jack Morrissey's appearance on the SmodCo Morning Show (back when it was called Plus One Per Diem) I was excited by the prospect of a weekly show/podcast. Mr. Morrissey has a terrific voice and a robust, enviable knowledge of Hollywood and film-making. For instance, I love hearing him talk in Episode 3 about the houses in Pasadena where much of "Halloween" was shot.

The show has a lot of potential, but they need to focus on letting Mr. Morrissey do his thing. That means smaller doses of Greg (he should be more of a color man than a co-host) and also limiting/preventing people like Matt Cohen (who has his own show, but is supposed to be the sound engineer on this one, I believe) from interjecting their two (unsolicited) cents every few minutes. When you get too many people butting in and babbling, it just turns into garbage. NOT EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR OWN SHOW AND NOT EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE TALKING ALL THE TIME. Trust me guys, you're not half as clever/witty/entertaining as you think you are.

Let the host, Mr. Morrissey, do his thing and this show will thrive.
