Podcast Description
The Walsingham Society of Christian Culture and Western Civilization exists to cultivate the minds and improve the lives of contemporary men and women by inviting them to share in the “great conversation” of the Western Tradition. This tradition has served as the foundation of the intellectual, artistic, and political achievements of the Western world from antiquity to the present. In this series of podcasts, Dr. James Patrick and other scholars of the Society lecture and lead discussions on the great authors and books of the Christian West and their insights into beauty, goodness, and truth.

Customer Reviews
A great resource...
The Walsingham Society, for those who do not know, is an excellent non-profit educational institution in the Highland Park area of Dallas, Texas. The Society is Roman Catholic in character with a definite sympathy for more traditional forms of Catholic expression. These podcasts include a wide variety of Society events, consisting mostly of lectures but with an occasional musical recital or evening class from the new School of Liberal Studies thrown in for good measure. There is much to think about and reflect upon in these podcasts, and are definitely worth downloading for someone who is interested in Philosophy, Theology and Literature in the Catholic Christian tradition. I highly recommend it!
