Best podcast on TFNN
Of course, the rest of TFNN programming isn't very good (especially "Wrong Way" Tommy and Buddy the Wonder Dog).
If you are a follower of IBD, Ken uses a similar methodology to CANSLIM (just can't say those words or IBD would sue). I find he tends to track stocks that show up on the IBD watchlists, and when the market is in a confirmed uptrend, he's picking good growth stocks. And even better, then the market is in a correction, he will actually scale back his investing the way Bill O'Neil teaches. He doesn't seem to think he has to have 10 stock picks every week just to fill a newsletter when the market is struggling.
I stopped listening to TFNN several years ago because of Tom and Bud continually miscalling the market. I came across this show and really like it. This is the only TFNN podcast I subscribe to. Too bad it still contains Tom's screeching and unintelligible voice (too bad close captioning doesn't work on radio) pitching his new book (can't wait to review that one) and other overly repetitive commercials. Fortunately, you can fast forward thru those spots with the podcast. And the Door's theme music is fun, too.
If you want to follow a proven winner (ie CANSLIM and Bill O'Neil), Ken's podcast will help you out, unlike the rest of the losers on TFNN.
Good market analysis
Ken knows the market and writes a great newsletter. I like his disciplined approach to growth investing.
Meaningful Insights
Ken has got very well thought out opinions on market dynamics that are very helpful for those investing over the long haul - in both up and down markets his strategies make sense- well worth the download.
