The 404 1,061: Where we're in too deep (podcast) | Stupid Andy helps us round out the week before the three-day holiday, and our favorite way to pay tribute to the soldiers is by getting choked up at YouTube videos of soldiers reuniting with their dogs. The ones with their families are pretty good, too. | 5/25/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,060: Where we break through the clusterzuck (podcast) | Now that the Internet isn't flooded with Facebook IPO news, we can move on to more breaking news, like Hollywood finally answering our prayers for a Hook prequel that tells the Rufio origin story. That's right, the original actor who played Rufio, Dante Basco, recently announced in an interview that a Rufio prequel film is in the works under the directing eye of Rpin Suwannath. Maybe we'll finally get to the bottom of how he got those fabulous red tights. | 5/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,059: Where Facebook fizzles and we're happier for it (podcast) | Last time Jill Schlesinger was here, she advised all our listeners to be patient and wait to see how the Facebook IPO would react to the hype machine leading up to last Friday's open trading. Two weeks later, we hope you listened, or you may have lost some money. | 5/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,058: Where CNET fans for the win (podcast) | Congratulations to all of our colleagues at CNET TV for winning a Webby Award in People's Voice Award in the Technology category at last night's ceremony. Plenty of celebrities including Bono, George Lucas, Al Gore, Buzz Aldrin, and more were on hand to pay tribute to Steve Jobs and celebrate the best of the Web. None of CNET's programming would be useful without viewers to watch it, so thanks to you for tuning in! | 5/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,057: Where we'd rather have an IPA (podcast) | Sorry about the rather short show today, but the Facebook IPO just started trading and we have to make way for a special edition of Reporter's Roundtable featuring our own "Aunt" Jill Schlesinger, Andy Rachleff of Wealthfront, and Tom Merritt. Check it out for in-depth discussion about the offering! We'll be back on Monday with a week of new episodes, but you can stay in touch on our Instagram page--look us up @the404. | 5/18/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,056: Where you don't win friends with salad (podcast) | The Netflix video streaming player finally gets an overhaul, but most of the upgrades to the navigation and video thumbnail layouts feel vaguely reminiscent to us, but we can't put a finger on it. Speaking of streaming video, we'll also made a plea to HBO to broadcast episodes of "Game of Thrones" to non-subscribers. The show has quickly become the most pirated show of 2012 so far, and although we understand HBO's rights to keep the episodes in-house, we can't help but wonder why the network isn't taking advantage of this opportunity to get more money. The 404 1,055: Where we're indie for a day (podcast) | Most of us conjure images of "Grandma's Boy" when we think about video game developers, but a new documentary "Indie Game: The Movie" goes deep into the lives of a couple independent programmers, and today we're joined by first-time filmmaking duo Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky. The 404 1,054: Where we're gonna need to see some ID (podcast) | This Friday, 25 bars and restaurants around the San Francisco Bay Area will adopt Scenetap, a social analytics app that uses facial recognition technology to gather real-time data on customer relations and crowd sizes. Don't worry, the cameras only analyze facial features to determine approximate age and gender of clients entering the bars, and the restaurants swear that they won't upload videos of patrons stumbling out and doing whatever people do outside of bars at 4 a.m. | 5/15/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,053: Where we'll never pay for that (podcast) | Would you pay $2 if you knew that every single one of your Facebook friends would be exposed to your status update? The social network may soon give an eBay-esque highlight ability to those with the most disposable income, and some users in New Zealand already have access. But what could be so important that you'd pay to spam your friends? Let us know in the comments. | 5/14/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The 404 1,052: Where we meet the million dollar man (podcast) | 2K Sports held its annual "Perfect Game Challenge" last night with a million dollar prize, and today we'll chat with the winner of the MLB2K12 tournament, Mr. Chris Gilmore. Twenty-year-old Gilmore bested Charles Bates 10-1 in the tournament final that pitted him against eight other highly ranked players. We'll obviously ask him what he plans to do with the bounty, but we also want to know about his history with competitive video games, his preparation process in the weeks leading up to the event, and how it felt to breathe the same air as Kate Upton. | 5/11/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Down to earth and fun.
I listen to alot of podcasts and it's hard to find one that is like listening to your friends at the bar. The guys are funny and are comfortable around eachother. It's good to hear a show that doesn't take itself so seriously. The only thing they need is more time.
A Treat
This is such a pleasant change of pace that it deserves everyone's attention. They are down to earth, witty and very likeable. A1 entertainment. Congratulations to CNet.
Serious fun!
These guys are the best! I have listened to a lot of podcasts and tend to get bored with them over time, but these guys are just on. The wit, fun, lack of taking themselves too serious makes this podcast such a refreshing way of using 30 minutes of your day. Give it a chance, you will not be disappointed.
