A Podcast of Epic Proportions
I was a frequent listener of the original PortalCast. I enjoyed it, but it did have it's flaws such as the hosts talking over each other, the episodes running a bit long, and the whole thing just seeeming a bit repetitive. Don't get me wrong, I loved PortalCast back then. It's way much better than "From The Spirit World" which featured a bunch of children just squeeing over any new information related to Avatar.
This new PortalCast though is excellent and fixes pretty much all the problems the original had. Just the right time length to episodes, the audio sounds good, and each episode is like a different experience. PortalCast gives fast news and in-depth discussion and speculation. It is a must-listen for any "Avatard" or any person who previously listened to PortalCast. I encourage anyone who's a big enough fan of Avatar to seek out a podcast concerning it to listen to PortalCast over any other podcast.
The Avatar (podcast) is Back!
I didn't listen to the original podcast (I downloaded it recently however and love it) but this is fantastic. Its refreshing to hear people intelligently discuss without arguing over whose idea is right. The episodes drag on a little bit sometimes but not too often. I also miss the episode reviews that you did in the first few podcasts, I'd like to see some more of those in the future. Please don't end these after the movie comes out, they are really enjoyable.
