Christmas Present
This reading is a wonderful contemporary treatment of the Christmas story. Very inspiring readers! I'm going to play it for all the kids who visit during Christmas. They'll especially like the animal noises, some of which I thought were a little more accented than the readers' voices in places. Same for the music--it was lovely, but got a little distracting at times. I think I was hearing Denzel Washington reading the part of the angel, right? Perfect! Now I want to hear the rest of this audio Bible. Good job, Zondervan.
just shameless advertising
These podcasts hint at an amazing product (The Bible Eperience), but are worthless as podcasts. Clearly the audio has been rushed and compressed to fit into the 2:05 minute frame, and only about 45 seconds of that 2:05 is actual scripture, the rest a cookie-cutter advertisement for the full product. I am offended by this shameless abuse of podcasting.
One of a kind!
I bought The Bible Experience when it was first released and I have enjoyed EVERY minute listening to it. The Bible Experience has brought the Bible alive for me! I even bought it for my parents who are enjoying it too! Anyone who is curious in reading the Bible or studying the word, I highly recommend that you buy this product!
