Customer Reviews

Nice Fresh Approach for Christian Podcast.

This is not your typical podcast where there are boring lectures on boring subjects. Instead there is pleasant informal discussion among a group of well balanced people who enjoy life and have a passion for the truth. A great program format that breaks away for some interesting historical tidbits ... and then returns for interesting discussions. Well done. Listening time was 1/2 hour but seemed much quicker because of the quality of the discussion.

I want a seat at the Catholic Cafe!!!

I have been listening to Catholic podcasts for the better part of 5 years now, and I have to say this podcast is fantastic!! The topics were interesting, the conversation was engaging, and overall, this is a top-notch podcast that you really WANT to listen to! Alot of the "Big Names" in Catholic podcasting would do well to take a few pointers from Catholic Cafe. Well worth your time and well worth your ipod or iphones memory.

About your Pro Life Podcast

I have just written an evaluation essay about this topic. I was evaluating why it is so important to be pro life and be against abortion. There are so many other options out there for people to choose from. A common argument I hear all of the time is "Well what if the pregnancy is a product of a crime to the mother?" The harsh answer is, that is unfortunate. As you stated you cannot do what you want with your body what you want because there are limits. It is not the baby's fault and should not be condemned due to the parent's faults. The best solution for the baby's well being is at stake not the mother's, which is carrying it to term and either raising it right or adopting it to a family who will raise it right. Abortion is not a political matter of being part of our rights. It is a life and throwing it away because for the majority you cannot reap what you sow. For those who were unfortunate to have such a horrible crime done to them, I feel for you and I am not judging any choice that was made, I am just saying that because of the unfortunate event there is another innocent life involved now and there is a way to allow them to live and have a chance at being the wonderful human they turn out to be. So to sum up this review, I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying and appreciate the view presented to us by your podcast.
