Another great new show from 5by5

In 2010, Dan Benjamin's 5by5 Network raised the bar for tech and business podcasts with The Talk Show, The Big Web Show, Build & Analyze, Briefly Awesome and more. With his new Daily Edition, Benjamin returns to his first love - talk radio - for a free-form, call-in, conversation about topical subjects from the worlds of tech, gadgets, business development, sports, paranormal mysteries, and who knows what else!

5by5's shows work best when Dan and his co-hosts avoid pat interviews, indulging in in-depth discussions of subjects they clearly know a great deal about. The Daily Edition gives Dan the opportunity to pursue any subject, any time, and promises to be a great addition to the 5by5 lineup.

Not a fan of the new format

Let me start by saying that I really love the 5by5 network and almost all of Dan's shows are great. I like the idea of a daily show, and I was listening every day, but I just can't get into the new co-host/format. I don't mean to be harsh, and I hate to say it, but I just find myself tuning out and very uninterested. I've tried listening the past couple days but can't get more than about 10 min in. Sorry Dan, love the other shows.

Started good, but lost steam

Started out good but very quickly lost steam to the point that it sounds like one of those conversations you hear standing in a cue somewhere and you just want to slap them!

The problem is also that so many of Dan's other shows are outstanding ( 5by5 network in general is some of the best podcasts I listen too ) that it has a lot to live up to being 'almost daily'.
