Good, informative content
I really like Derrick's laid-back, info packed style. I learn useful tips for my digital photography with every episode. Keep up the good work!
Great content for beginner to advanced amateur.
I received a Nikon D70 for Christmas last year and had only really used the "Auto" modes until I started listening to this show. Derrick Story chooses topics that are very practical for anyone wanting to better utilize their digital camera. The information is presented in a very clear an consise manner. I had attended a few beginning photography seminars but most of it didn't click until now. Some reviewers have complained that Derrick is monotone but I find him very easy to listen to.
How a podcast should be
Derrick is everything I could ask for in a podcaster. He presents interesting and useful topics that are of interest to his intended audience. He gets to and stays with the point. He is not condescending, but instead exuberantly encourages the listeners to get more involved with photography, regardless of their experience or skill. Listening to his podcasts is like having him alongside helping you become better at the craft.
