Excellent Videos with interesting content...

It's refreshing to see a video about dogs that doesn't look like youtube! And this first episode, Ice Cream Social, is so cute! I'm a huge dog lover, even have three of my own, and I am always looking for fun things to do with them. Luckily I live near New Jersey and can go to an Ice Cream Social, but I can't wait to see what else this podcast has to offer. It's so hard to find video podcasts in any genre other than tech and business, that looks this good. Honestly, none of the video podcasts I've seen look this good. I'm hoping the Dog Files continues and is as successful as it should be.

High Production Values, Good Content

I love the production values in this show. It's clean, crisp, clear video with great subject matter. The information is useful and I learn something in each episode.

Why is this not on iTunes 2008 Bests?!?!

One thing I love about the podcasting medium is that independent content producers are allowed to create in the same space as media super-conglomerates. I would hope that Apple/iTunes would give these independent producers a fair shake when it comes to promoting them on their site. They do not. The iTunes "Best" of 2008 Podcasts are a collection of all the usual suspects, with content from CNN, MSNBC, Discover, HBO, et al... The fact is there's no better looking podcast than the Dog Files...period. iTunes should be promoting their best content, not just the most popular, which hardly needs promoting anyway. Boo to you Apple, and hooray for the Dog Files! Keep up the good work.
