Podcast Description

The Elitists Podcast is a Blizzard podcast, bringing you 3 times a week updates on the latest news from the Diablo, Starcraft and Warcraft universes. If only one interests you, there are other feeds for just Diablo, just starcraft, and just warcraft material. This for all of them.

Just cause you can doesn't mean you should

OMG, one arrogant nerd, two bloggers who are probably REALLY good when they write, but sound like nervous librarians calling in on crappy cell-phones when they try to talk, laughing at themselves over jokes that I at least HOPE are inside jokes, otherwise they are all just high. Poor sound quality, poor production value, I got 12 minutes in before I wanted to gouge my eyeballs out. This is the perfect example of how just because you have knowledge of a subject, and the technical ability to podcast, does NOT mean you have the personality to carry off (what is essentially) a radio show. For god’s sakes, these guys should either quit now or go listen to “the Instance” and pay attention to how Scott and Randy structure the show (though they have lousy timid guests sometimes too..) Crap on a stick is generous.

Poor poor Bell and Sylly /cry

Bellwether and Sylly are awesome at what they do. Being a resto-druid, I use their pages all the time and they have some awesome information along with some humor in their posts. Unfortunately, the host of the "Treehugging Edition" show had no structure and gave the two ladies, what seemed like, no overview of how the show was going to go. They obviously came on to talk about WoW and yet, the first 30mins were spent talking about Diablo and Starcraft which they had little to no knowledge of. There should have been a discussion prior to the show with the guests and, understanding that they knew nothing about Diablo or Starcraft, that part should have been skipped or done before/after the guest segment. Organize your show, get some structure, and for the love of Thrall, please brief your guests as to what they will be doing and, more importantly, what YOU will be doing.

Had to turn it off last time I listened to it...

This podcast has potential. The hosts know their stuff. Unfortunately they have a tendency to ramble and lose their audience. I got so tired of listening to them talk about each others blogs last show that I had to turn it off. Come on guys, put together an agenda and stick to it! I love that they want the show to include all the Blizzard properties, but someone's got to grab the reigns!
