Don't like the way this guy talks!
And as soon as I started listening to it I quickly found out that this is a conservative Christian podcast. So if you are ok with that, I guess you'd like it...but for those of us that don't agree with this narrow view of life...I found it annoying and parts even offensive. So frustrating that its nearly impossible to find a non-religious homeschool podcast. Sigh. If you feel like me, check out Rebecca Kochenderfer's podcasts at Homeschool.com (and many are here on iTunes), for VERY informative, non-religious (not anti, just non) and very well put together podcasts. Far superior to this one. Sadly, she doesn't do her podcast anymore, but there's a LOT (about a hundred on her website, I believe.) and she covers a lot of topics...and its not really time sensitive.
I'm sticking it out with this one a little longer to see if I can find anything valuable to me...If I can manage to get through it without twitching...I like to give podcasts a chance, despite already being very turned off to this one from the gitgo...so I'm going to see if I can salvage anything of value here. So far...eh. Listening right now and it sounds like this guy is just randomly babbling. Don't think I'm going to last much longer.

This is great! A wide variety of guests that inform and educate. I have listened to almost all of the episode now and each time I come away encouraged. Thanks for doing this and thanks to CHEA for sponsoring the Homeschooling Buzz.

I may be biased but...
This podcast is a quality production. It's informative and entertaining and comes from a Christian perspective. A 'must subscribe' for the California homeschooler and helpful to all who are interested in homeschooling news, products, and services.
I especially like the funny episode where he interviews his wife (#21?), and the exclusive re-broadcast of the interview between James Dobson and Raymond Moore. So many great other informative interviews.
