In Compare-O-Rama, the original radio play is spliced together with the IBRT recreation, telling the whole story by switching back and forth between versions, giving listeners a chance to hear differences in performances, sound effects, and music. Love it!
Delightfully Eclectic
Jeff Adams and the folks at Icebox Radio Theater have an obvious love for the moods and conventions of "old time" radio and classic audio drama, and somehow they've married this passion to a spirit of innovation much larger than the small town from which they podcast. Jeff's warm, quirky voice maintains an intimate consistency from episode to episode, even as the show explores genres ranging from comedy, to noir drama, to sci-fi, to the supernatural; if your first listen doesn't happen to be to your tastes, it's a good bet the next one will be!
Time well spent
Well done and entertaining.
