Podcast Description
The Incredible Podcast of Amazing Awesomeness features two of the Internet's most popular podcast hosts. Unfortunately both of these hosts pulled out at the last minute and instead you are stuck with Mike Schramm and Turpster. Mike and Turps first started podcasting together on the hugely popular WoW Insider Show over at WoW.com. Now the two have taken their 'Odd Couple' relationship, which Turpster insists is purely platonic (on his part), to new heights with a show that is impossible to define but incredibly awesome!

Episode 89 with The Instance | Yes, our friends (and Turpster’s co-hosts) from The Instance, Scott Johnson and Willie Dills, were kind enough to join us this week to chat about — well, mostly gaming in general. But the real point of talking to them (other than the fact that they’re nice guys and excellent podcasters) was to chat about The Instance Old Republic edition, and see what these guys all think of the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. Everybody involved has some excellent opinions, so tune in and listen for those. We also talked at length about Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and you can hear Scott’s interview with 38 Studios head Curt Schilling over on his Final Score podcast. Huge thanks to both Scott and Willie for joining us — odds are you already listen to the Instance and Scott’s great work at Frogpants, but if not, go give them your ears! We also answered your emails and voicemails this week — you can email us anytime you like at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or give us a call at 1-830-4-TURPS-4. We had some pretty heinous hate mail this week, so maybe next week (as we move closer to Valentine’s Day), we can get some love mail. Looking at you, ladies! And in the meantime, enjoy the show! We have been lax on recording lately, but we should be back next week as usual, and we might even have a new guest to chat with. We’ll be back live on Ustream Sunday morning, bright and early on Mike’s time, at 9am PST. See you then! | 1/24/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 88 – The Shape of T(eeth) | We recorded this episode earlier in the week but Turpster has been so busy doing sweet F.A that he’s only just gotten around to uploading it on the day we record the next episode! GG T! (It’s ok, I can say all of these horrid things about The T since I, Turpster, am writing this) The episode was vitally important for raising awareness of Mike’s new eBook “The Shape of Teeth” and the several different editions available for purchase for fans of the show. Since I’ve only just gotten around to uploading it, I’m going to guess that none of you have yet purchased Mike’s collection of short stories…you can rectify that now and go buy it for the low, low price of $7. Better yet, get the collector’s edition for just $3 more and you get a whole heap of extras. Shoot an email over to the show’s email (theshow@incrediblepodcast.com) and we’ll make sure to deliver EVEN MORE content for anyone who’s bought either version of the book. As always we read out your emails and play your phone calls. If you hear something on the show you’d like to respond to, please do email us at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com. You can also call us at 1-830-4-TURPS-4 which can always be more fun. | 1/8/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 87 with Nicole and Mateo Spagnuolo (w/ Special Guest!) | Ding dong merrily on high! The Christmas episode of TIPOAA is almost in time for Christmas (one day out isn’t that bad now is it?!) We were fortunate enough to have a super bumper cast of guests on this past week with not one, not two, but THREE guests on this special festive episode. Nicole Spag was back and on form, letting all potential mothers out there know that your gaming time WILL be significantly abridged with the birth of your first child – this has since put Turpster right off the idea of kids. We were also joined by the occasional sound from Mateo Spagnuolo, the youngest podcast guest we’ve ever had on the show at just seven weeks! He didn’t have a huge amount to add, but when he did, it was usually to disagree with something Mike said or to sigh at one of Turpster’s most excellent jokes. Finally we were joined by an old favourite of the show, it wouldn’t be Christmas without her, of course, it was Mrs. Claus. With Santa always being so busy at this time of year its a real privilege to get a chance to talk with Mrs. Claus and get an idea of what really goes on behind the scenes in the North Pole. Amongst all this, Turpster got his new Doghouse Systems Laptop and Mike has his new eBook coming out. Very exciting times! As always we read out your emails and play your phone calls. If you hear something on the show you’d like to respond to, please do email us at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com. You can also call us at 1-830-4-TURPS-4 which can always be more fun. Finally, both Mike and I would like to wish you all a fantastic festive holiday and a cracking New Year. We should be back sometime this week in advance of 2012 (THE END OF THE WORLD!) so keep an eye out on Twitter! | 12/26/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 86 with guest Andrea Rene | Our guest this last week was the beautiful and talented Andrea Rene — you can find her on her website, on Twitter, or over on Clevver Gaming, where she posts news and videos daily about the latest and greatest games. She talks about some of her favorite games of the year with us, chats about what being live at the Video Game Awards was like, and rolls her eyes as Mike talks about what it’s like to see Brooklyn Decker live in person. Elsewhere, Mike and T talk about the big squirrel problem over in the UK, what we want for Christmas, and we even have some (bad) advice for anyone trying to buy gifts for a lady this holiday season. And we answer your emails as usual — you can send those in to theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or call us any time at 1-830-4-TURPS-4! We’ve got a few Christmas-y intros, but we can always use more, so if you want to record a quick mp3 and send us an intro, we’ll play it on a future show! Thanks to Andrea Rene for joining us this past week, and stay tuned. We’ll be back on Sunday with our good friend Nicole Spagnuolo (and that means we might even hear from Mrs. Claus!), so we’ll talk to you then. | 12/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 85 with guest Matt Thurston | Last week on the podcast, we had a nice chat with actor Matt Thurston, who’s been making a great series called Cliff Notes about a bunch of wacky bookstore employees. Matt and Mike and T talk retail, World of Warcraft (Matt’s also a frequent guest on Rawrcast and has hung out at BlizzCon with us), and how to put on a murder mystery. We also talk more about what we’ve been playing lately — Mike and T continue to be big fans of OnLive, Mike’s getting into Magic, and the T is … getting drunk more often than not. Sounds like fun! And of course we answer your emails — you can email the show any time (and you should) by sending a note to theshow@incrediblepodcast.com! We’d really appreciate it, and we’ll answer whatever you ask, usually with a more-than-satisfactory response! Enjoy the show (sorry it’s a little late, been a busy week), and we’ll be back on Sunday (tomorrow) as usual. Have a great Saturday afternoon! | 12/10/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 84 with guest Josh Mattingly | Our guest this week was rising Internet superstar (and Mike’s buddy) Josh Mattingly, who you might have recently seen sporting a beard in that funny Dragonborn video, joking around at the Long Beach Comic-Con, or dealing with his roommate Mario over on YouTube. Josh is also covering indie games over on his own YouTube channel, so if you want to hear about some fun indie games you might not have tried yet, go check that out. Josh chats with us about improv, what “indie” means, and of course what he’s been playing lately. And Mike and T talk this week more about Skyrim, Mike has totally become an OnLive zombie, and we also talk about whatever else comes to our minds. One show note this week: We lost the actual Skype recording once again, so this recording is actually stolen from Ustream. Just like last time, there were ads in it, but Mike has kindly gone in for you the listener and cut them out of the recording. Hopefully he caught all of them — if not, then we apologize. Steps have been taken to fix the issue, so hopefully it’s fixed for good. Sorry about that — we promise you can have all of your money back that you paid for this episode. And as usual, we answer your emails and voicemails (though we strangely didn’t have too many this show). If you have something you’d like to share with us or ask about, you can do so — just send it along to theshow@incrediblepodcast.com. And of course you can call us any time night or day at 1-830-4-TURPS-4. Please do call — it’s always fun to hear from you guys. Thanks for listening as always, and enjoy the show! Be sure to watch Josh’s videos, too, and subscribe to his channels, like them, and do all that YouTube stuff that helps him out. See you next week. | 11/29/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 83 with guest Nick Armstrong | This week on the show, actor and performer Nick Armstrong joins us — he’s one heck of a guy who’s been on some really great TV shows, plays some really great games, and is really nice and talented. Definitely listen in — we talk about Nick’s start in the business and what it was like meeting Ron Swanson, what “Anejo” means when it comes to rum, and also Nick’s Camp Improv Utopia, which is a really great camp next year on the California coast that you should think about coming out to if you’ve ever performed, or even just been interested in, improvisation. You can go follow Nick on Twitter at (you guessed it) @nickarmstrong, and you should. Did we mention how nice he is? Elsewhere this week, Mike’s been playing a lot of Saints’ Row 3, and Turpster and Mike both have dived into Skyrim headfirst, so we talk about all of those games and more. Plus, Mike bought a ticket for Europe, finally, so there’s lots of planning to do on that end. And as usual we answer your email, and even your voicemails this time, including one with just the best New York accent we’ve ever heard. Mike is still chuckling to himself about “Gears of War Tree.” Enjoy the show, and if you hear something you want to respond to, drop us a note at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com, or call us at 1-830-4-TURPS-4. Episode 82: Skyrim and Warfare | Mike and the T are guest-less this week, which just leaves much more time for your emails (and our stories). We both ended up going to release parties this week, so we suss out which was better. And we’ve both been playing Skyrim, along with a few other games, so we talk at length about those as well. Those emails do get answered, including some more news about BlizzCon, T getting called out for videobombing Yogscast, and Mike’s comic book and … normal book choices lately. If you hear something on the show you’d like to respond to, please do email us at theshow@incrediblepodcast.com. You can also call us at 1-830-4-TURPS-4, but we haven’t gotten to your voicemails much lately. We will play them eventually, though! Oh, and Mike ran a 10K around Universal Studios the other day, so we talk about that as well. His time, for those of you interested, was 1:05 — not a personal record, unfortunately, but that’s OK. You can’t expect him to run all that fast, considering he was on the movie backlot, and running up and down all of those hills. Have a great week, and enjoy the podcast! | 11/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 81 with guest Jeff Reitman | In this episode (which we recorded on Saturday this week, because we missed recording last week due to unforeseen circumstances), Mike and T talk with comedian Jeff Reitman, who has a comedy show coming up in San Francisco on November 8 that you should all go to (if you’re in San Francisco, that is). Jeff was also at BlizzCon with us, so we talk a whole lot about all of the crazy things that happened at BlizzCon, including what Mike and T saw at Disney, hanging out in the club lounge, playing all of Blizzard’s new games, and of course DizCon. DizCon especially was super, super fun — THANK YOU to everyone who came out and said hello to us. We couldn’t even try to start thanking everyone that was there, but if you were, then you know who you are, and we appreciate it. If you have pictures from the show, please do upload them to Flickr, and use the “dizcon” tag (also add “dizcon-2011,” if you plan to put more pictures up next year). If Mike’s HTML-fu works correctly, you should be able to see all of the publicly shared DizCon pictures right over here. We sold a lot of t-shirts at BlizzCon, but we have some left, so listen in to this show to see how you can buy one of your own. And even if you don’t get one of those, stay tuned, because we will have t-shirts available to everyone soon. One other programming note: for the first time ever, Mike lost the Skype recording of this show — when all of the dust settled on the podcast, we only had 30 minutes to upload. But don’t worry — we’ve recreated the show from the Ustream recording, with the one issue being that we also had to record Ustream’s commercials as well. Sorry if those are annoying, but we figured a full show with commercials was better than half a show. Next week we’ll be back to a normal, non commercial-laden feed. Have a great week, enjoy the show! Also, here’s this: | 11/6/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 80: Live from LA | Mike and the T are live from Los Angeles today, with the very first Tipoaa ever with both of us in the exact same room at the exact same time. T and Mike chill in Mike’s apartment, talk about T’s trip to America and how it’s going so far, and give a nice BlizzCon preview, along with all of the parties and fun we’ll be at. We also wait for the t-shirts to arrive, and have a short update on where those will be in the future. If you’d like to email us about this show, please do — the address is theshow@incrediblepodcast.com. But DON’T email us that you saw us at BlizzCon and didn’t get a chance to chat — please just walk up to us and say hi if you’re around! Mike will be wearing a Tipoaa tshirt (probably on Friday), and Turpster will be unmissable. We’ll also be at DizCon on Sunday — just meet outside the parks at Disneyland at 10am. We’ll spend all day wandering around Disneyland and have a great time there, so do join us! Enjoy the show, and we’ll be back next week. Also, play Batman. It’s awesome. | 10/19/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Filling the void in my soul where a gap has been torn!
This podcast is hilarious! With little to no direction, Turpster and Mike Schramm ramble on about many interesting topics (including World of Warcraft, just like old times!) to geeks of all walks of life. Great job again, Mark and Mike!
