"The Knitting Show" Long distance knitting---LOVE IT!!!
I love this show and look forward to each espisode! I am really impressed that they have used a long-distance technology that has such good sound quality (better than some that record in the same room). I enjoy the topics and the easy conversation between this sister and brother. They have a good balance of knitting talk and personal disclosure: they talk about their personal lives just enough to make the listener interested in them and provide lots of knitting talk. I especially like hearing about Peter's knitting and the male perspective on knitting. Dierdre knits for designers and although she can't talk about many of her current projects, hearing her from a 'professional knitter' is great. I just have one question for them: how many sisters and brothers DO you have??? (:
The Knitting Show
I've been listening to Deirdre and Peter for several weeks. The Knitting Show has become one of my favorites in a very short time. The energy and conversation is good between these sibling knitters. Their delivery is excellent without distracting speech habits. Honest, sincere, knowledgeble, likeable, and humorous: What more could a listener ask for? I hope Deidre and Peter podcast for a very long time.
Hear from two knit sibs--and one's a guy!
I really enjoyed this first episode as two knitting siblings compared and contrasted their experiences with yarn and more. Keep it up, please!
