The MitchCast 174 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/photo-9-225x300.jpg)Now, more than ever, it is time to band together and unite against The End of the $1 Soda at McDonald's Our voices must be heard! We need to sound off on twitter, Facebook, and yes, even Google Circles (all 48 of us). If enough of us complain, we can fight back against corporate greed, 30 cents at a time. If that's not your bag, don't worry. We still have the fight to bring back the gods gift to humanity: The Beef Baja Chalupa. I'm sorry if you are hearing this for the first time, but Taco Bell is no longer offering the Beef Baja Chalupa. Indeed these are sad times for those of us on the drive-thru diet. What next? The downtown Portland Carl's Jr. is gonna close?? Oh, wait, it already has. Curses! Still, the sun shines on some things. What, I don't know. If you own a sleeper sofa, aka hide-a-bed couch, then do yourself a favor: NEVER MOVE! At least, don't call me or Sean to help. (By the way, his new name is Sugar-pecs.) There is no appendage worth losing to move those over-sized, crappy sleeping, heavier than lead, poor excuses for a bed. Period. There's more to this episode than that, but let's not gloss over these important issues. We also take the usual time to enlighten and preach. Find out my futurist vision for the e-book reader and what it could be. Steal the ideas and become a multi-millionaire. They're yours for the taking. For your reference, this episode may or may not include the following: * Valentine's Day * Reading * McDonald's * US Remakes UK * Helping people move * Living abroad * Effing and Jeffing * Family support A very big thank you to Super-Fan Steve Houston for sending the wonderful chocolate bar featured in this post. If you've never seen me, now you have. Forever remembered and frozen in chocolate carbonite! (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Screen-Shot-2012-02-09-at-10.29.01-AM.png)The captain has brought us an excellent online coupon code to be used at, Target.com. Get 10% OFF site wide, including clearance items. This code is good until March 31, 2012, so use it as often as you like. Coupon Code: TGTHTT5Z Until next time, chin up and don't fall for the insanity! Sean's Netflix recommendations: * Brick * The Take * Memento * Black Books Sean's Valentine's Movie Recommendations: * Casablanca * Shakespeare In Love * Romeo & Juliet/Romeo + Juliet * Somewhere In Time * Room With A View (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/photo-8-300x224.jpg) | 2/9/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 173 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/photo-10-300x224.jpg)The MitchCast. Truly a cautionary tale from two dudes, with wives, 10 kids between them, and corporate jobs. Yes, your life is actually pretty darn good! Listen and then find renewed energy from whatever cesspool you thought you lived in. You won't want to miss this exciting episode if you like Italian men the way Sean and I do. Oh yes, with all their glorious gesturing, funny stories, and soccer skills, both on the field and the table. What we can only aspire to. Still not interested. Perhaps you thought your healthcare wasn't so great. Well, mine got worse, thanks to ADP. The good news, it only takes me over $6000 out of my pocket before they pay a dime. What do I even have healthcare for?? Oh, but you want more. And we deliver. Find out the important Golden Globe news: the menu! What will you have? Certainly worth discussion for 45 minutes, right? And we also announce the winner for the Best Creepy Animated Movie That Looks Like "The Polar Express". You will be surprised. There's more, including Captain Coupon and Movie Stub Vault, two staples of the Mitchcast. What are you waiting for?! Download today or subscribe in iTunes. Peace out. The MitchCast 172 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/photo-9-e1326837723920-224x300.jpg)Great news, everybody. I'm not a size 14! Still not an 8. Turns out that 13 is a little baggy, but 9 is challenging to the groin, if you know what I mean. So I'm a 10, 11, or 12, But with a little work, I'll be an 8! That may require some weight loss, and between Sean and I, we are "experts". Get some good advice if you too are trying to get down to an 8. And if you are a 14, there's no shame in it. In fact, don't tell him I said so, but I think Sean's first goal should be a 14. Just saying... What else should you expect? How about Sean's Review of "Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1340800/)" for instance. Still not good enough. Then maybe you will like to hear about Kickapoo Joy Juice (http://www.monarchbeverages.com/brands/kickapoo). Yeah, me too. Sadly, nothing but a teaser on this front. Still, you may be able to relate on the topic of organizational nightmares and kids clutter. There are a few pointers, but mostly just agonizing over the quantity of crap I've built up and how to handle it. There is more, and topics may or may not include: * AFSP and The Overnight (http://theovernight.donordrive.com) June 9-10 * Movie Review * Organizational Constipation * Star Wars * Caffeine Addiction In usual fashion we let you play along with Movie Stub Vault and Captain Coupon gives us yet another steal of a deal. All right here, right now. It's like Christmas in your ears! Stay safe, until next time! The MitchCast 171 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/photo-8-300x224.jpg)So this is the new year? Well great. Just dandy-rific. Swell. It feels so nice. Really. So why not put out the first episode of the year, right? And that's what we are doing. So hang on to your hats, it could get bumpy, it's time for The MitchCast! What can you expect from the first episode of the year? Well, let's face it, probably something about food or movies, right? That seems to be the most prominent subjects that we guys talk about. That's fairly accurate, but let's give you a better idea. This episode may or may not contain the following: * Blu-ray * Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows * Movie Trilogies vs Franchises * Frozen Yogurt * New Years * NetFlix Recommendations * Caffeine Headache * Gaming Addiction In a recent turn of the tables, I have decided to give up caffeine for a spell, and Sean has decided to pick up the bottle again! This ends up being a zero sum change for the fine folks at the Coca-Cola Company, but we'll see how long I can hold out! I was in the headache phase of withdrawal even as we taped. The holidays brought new blu-ray toys for both of us. I said I was out of the optical disc game long ago, but have joined the team. We talk about our first disc purchases and the whole blu-ray experience. I know, we're several years behind the curve in this arena, but we discuss the current movie delivery methods and what we think needs to happen. Namely, some advice for Netflix and how they might improve their bottom line. "What time did you come to bed last night?" How many times guys has your wife asked you this? I thought I was the only one, but it appears to be universal. Find out the best responses and pitfalls to this loaded question. You might improve your marriage with some of our advice. Or, you might have better advice of your own, so send it in. We bid a fond farewell to the local Cold Stone Ice Creamery and talk about why restaurants just don't work in our town. Now I have to find a new place to spend $5 for ice cream from a teenage kid who can't even mix a Twix bar into 5 ounces of ice cream. So sad... Until we meet again, later this week... The MitchCast 170 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/photo-1-225x300.jpg)Merry Holiday Everyone! In true MitchCast fashion, we bring you nothing new, exciting, informative, accurate, or even relevant. That's right, it's business as usual! You've come to expect nothing more from the yardstick that is The MitchCast. Enjoy this holiday treat that won't add any pounds or cause diarrhea. Four out of five dentists agree, The MitchCast does not promote tooth decay! So what can you expect this episode? Who knows. But, if you are interested in our review of "Mission Impossible 4: How to Get Tom Outta Those Jeans", then you can skip to the 41 minute mark and find out what we thought. Are we professional critics? Heck no. But that's why you like our reviews. There's no comparisons to Bergman archetypal characters. No mention of Storaro cinematography or Stanislavski's system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanislavski's_system). This is just guys talking about movies the way normal people do. Is there more? Why yes. A steamy pile more of great topics, which may or may not include the following: * Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol * X-Factor * Louis C.K. * Birthdays * Dexter * Headaches * Business Casual * Corporate Film Festival Whistle Blowing * Frozen Yogurt (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Screen-Shot-2011-12-23-at-10.49.41-AM.png)And of course, no episode is complete without a visit from Captain Coupon. This week we get a code for Papa Johns Pizza. That's right, order online and use the code COKE25 to receive 25% off your entire order. This coupon is good through the end of January, so let the pizza games begin! Thanks to everyone for the continued listenership. We do appreciate it and look forward to one last episode this year before 2012! Until then, good times. | 12/23/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 169 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/photo-4-300x224.jpg)This week we recognize the birthday of Captain Coupon and Chef Guy, albeit a few days late. Happy birthday boys! While the Captain graces us week to week with his deals and savings, Chef Guy joins us in the studio, for the fourth time (we think). This may make him the most frequent guest on the show, aside from Sean. As you might expect with the Chef, we do some great service to cooking, tasting, and food. Too much to write about here, but I will tease you with a few tasty morsels for your inquiring mind. First, their is a "Black Cherry Off" between Henry Weinhards, Thomas Kemper, and Virgils. Don't worry, it's safe for work. Mostly. Unless you work for the Ministry of Red Cherry Defense. (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/photo-5-e1323464381362-224x300.jpg)Then there is the newest segment to the show, "Ask the Chef". We talk about smoking, smokers, deglazing, and pan sauce. Yeah, I hear you, I'm getting hungry just writing this. For future shows, send questions for Chef Guy to "feedback at the mitchcast dot com". He'll be sure to give you his opinion. And you know what they say about opinions... We also review Podnah's Pit Barbecue (http://podnahspit.com/), Willamette Week's 2011 Portland Restaurant of the Year (http://www.wweek.com/portland/article-18080-restaurant_guide_2011_podnahs_pit_restaurant_of_the_year.html). We give you the real deal review. Unlike other media organizations, we are not bound to tell you anything but what we really think. We're footing the bill and they aren't catering to us. It's raw, unadulterated, and of course, safe for work. Did I mention that? Really, we do our best to give a full review to this Portland pick and what we think barbecue should be. Chime in with your own opinion by calling the hotline or sending in feedback. It's up to you to make sure your voice is heard. (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/photo-7-300x224.jpg)But wait, there's more! If you act now, we'll also tell you about Christmas tree shopping, movies to see or not see, Ben & Jerry's, and listen to a new cut from the Sugarplex EP, "The Floor". So get off your duff, listen to the show, tell your friends to listen and subscribe, and stop complaining about the cost. It's free I tell you. Free!! MitchCast Mention: Some gas station in Albany, Oregon with a large soda selection (could that be any more vague?). Captain Coupon: Subway $2 Customer Appreciation Month. Listen for details. The MitchCast 168 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/photo-2-225x300.jpg)In this lovely episode we take a look back at the week of Thanksgiving and all the stress, fun, turmoil, and tongue trauma that ensued. Do you like cats, but not the musical? Do you get queasy from tales of traumatized tongues? Do you have an unhealthy relationship with gravy? Do you take red pills you find in a bag, despite not knowing their origin or content? If you answered "yes" to zero or more questions, then you must listen to this episode of The MitchCast. Did you answer "no" to six or fewer questions? Then you should listen to the first two halves of the show only. If you are married, or considering becoming married, then consult your mental health professional first. The MitchCast 167 | http://vimeo.com/29678640 You've got to walk the talk, and guac the guac. In a one two punch we expose the truth behind the Chipotle (http://www.chipotle.com) veggie bowl guacamole scam AND how ADP (http://www.adp.com/) doesn't like its employees talking about values in relationship to the recent arrest (http://beauforttribune.com/archives/66791) and retirement of Gary Butler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_C._Butler), aka "Mr. Bulletproof". What? You've never heard of either? Then you are in for a treat, my friend. First off you get a healthy helping of guacamole (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guacamole) talk, which is not what you'll get at your local Chipotle Mexican Grill (http://www.chipotle.com/). In fact, you may get what hardly qualifies as a dollop, which stings when you are going veggie, and downright burns when paying an extra $1.80! Sean The Cast uncovered the ugly truth where they have begun to use fear and deception to reduce guacamole consumption. "Anything else?" Then we blow the doors off the recent ADP scandal (http://www.cnbc.com/id/45355116). No, not the one where Gary Butler, [former] CEO, got drunk and choked his wife (http://www.footnoted.com/uncategorized/adp-chiefs-exit-followed-south-carolina-arrest/) before getting arrested and then retired to the tune of some $30 million plus. No, not that. But talking about that on the company's internal social network. Yes, yours truly learned that corporate values are just a pretty poster and fancy mousepad, not something we actually discuss or live by. The captain also shares his love this week bringing us free medium fries from McDonald's (http://www.mcdonalds.com). (You know, the place that used to have ownership of Chipotle?) Your best bet is to get a one dollar soda, sit back, and let the free fries come to you! All that, and the official release of the Sugarplex EP (http://sugarplex.com/)? What are you waiting for, get crack-a-lackin!! The MitchCast 166 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/photo-1-225x300.jpg)It's that time of year again, when the plumped up McRibs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McRib) are finally sent to slaughter. In honor of the Legends of McRib Tribute Tour 2011, we at the MitchCast offer a solid review for our dear listeners. Yes, if you've never tasted the McRib, or have an aversion to pork and pork-like meat-based and inspired products, then you will truly enjoy this episode. In true MitchCast fashion, we take it to the limit, then exceed the limit, beat it, drag it up, and continue to rehash for ten times longer then necessary. You won't be disappointed. You'll be despondent. Once you get past the McRib sweats, you will be treated to a wonderful episode brimming with reviews, opinions, semi-facts, mispronunciations, and even, a few laughs. It's like "Joanie Loves Chachi (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083433/)" meets Ponch and Jon (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075488/), on steroids. You be the judge, then send in judgement and payment, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to "This is the Hotness Dot I'm the Bomb!" Thanks. The MitchCast 165 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/photo-e1320863817833-225x300.jpg)And like clockwork, we crank out another episode for your indulgence. There is even a planned list of topics, which may or may not include the following: * Kids Toys * Halloween Candy * Eye "Doctors" * Depression * Date Night and mattresses * Hair Cuts There is no particular order, but I think you will find the usual lengthy overcooked discussion with little regard to political correctness or any sensitivity. In other words, business as usual. We'd also invite you to check out, join, like, or just visit our Facebook fan page. It is located at: http://www.facebook.com/groups/139509532767991/ (http://www.facebook.com/groups/139509532767991/) We've not been able to fully harness the power yet, but with a little luck, a few years time, and some prayers, it may take over Facebook entirely. And you can say, you were one of the first ones to be a part of this movement. MitchCast Mention: Goorin Bros. The MitchCast 163 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/photo-2-e1319563707715-224x300.jpg)"You are not of the body!" That's it my friends. Landru, and The Return of the Archons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Return_of_the_Archons) sums up this episode quite nicely. Well, actually, I can't say that for sure. I just muddle my way through an incorrect quotation in the opening, and now I'm writing about it. I think Kirk said, "Landru must die" at some point. Enough of the continuing to mouth-barf. Let's lay it out there. What are we trying to accomplish with this here MitchCast thing? I ask myself all the time. This is really a therapeutic podcast, for myself and The Cast. A way to keep some level of sanity. We merely invite you, the listener, to join us along this journey of self introspection and discovery as we dive deeper into what it means to be married with children working stiffs. Dreams? What are those? You can only have them if you can actually get some decent sleep. And if you have the lifelong ones, well...well. I'm sorry. Perhaps listening to this show will make you realize, you do have something worth doing. Your life ain't so bad. And you're glad you and your spouse only have two dogs. There is a lot of talk in this here episode. Talk that covers the gamut. My company's film festival. My disdain for my company. My disdain for executive compensation at my company. My dream to make a statement and a change. Comedy, I know. Pure comedy. Keep tuning in. Send some feedback in. (No, really. Send some feedback to us at feedback at the mitchcast dot com.) And most of all, live long and prosper. And stop crying. | 10/25/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 162 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/photo-300x300.jpg)Let us dispense with the apologies and excuses. Let us not talk of "should have's" or "wanted to's". This is a living breathing process and it is what it is. I wish I could do more, but I am only human. Mostly. A decent amount. Forty percent? Thirty-ish? Meh... Whatever. Let's talk about the episode. And it is jam packed with stuff. First off, there is some talk of grammar, and you can't talk grammar on a podcast without mentioning Mignon Fogarty (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mignon_Fogarty), aka "Grammar Girl" (http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/). Quick and dirty, you know. So subscribe (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=173429229) to that gem if you don't already. Me? Well, you think the grammar is bad now, you should have heard me before Grammar Girl! If you've listened to the podcast before, you know that food is a principal part of what we talk about. Not by design. But, we are guys and if it's not movies, hookers, comics, or Glee, it's food. This special episode covers some very important ground: making french fries. Let me also get it out there in the open: I bought a deep fryer. Okay. I'm not proud of it, but I'm willing to admit it. Openly. Just don't tell anyone else, please. You'll realize that it was part of making the perfect McDonald's knock-off fries. Which was just part of a grander scheme to provide a burger grill-out to my family. So, thanks to J. Kenji López-Alt (http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives/2010/05/the-burger-lab-how-to-make-perfect-mcdonalds-style-french-fries.html) I have the formula, bwha-haha-hahahahahaha! There is also a very special regaling of Friday work antics and the "Cardboard Barrel" incident. Let's just say there's some new rules and pictures floating around the office thanks to yours truly. There is more talk about more stuff, including the ever popular Movie Stub Vault and Captain Coupon. As always, thanks to Sugarplex (http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/sugarplex/id396570401), EP dropping sometime very soon. You'll hear about it when we do! Until the next time, take care. The MitchCast 161 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/photo-3-e1316546044594-300x225.jpg)So where did we go? Well, we were struggling with how to make The MitchCast smarter. We racked our walnut sized brains and realized that sounding smart is just a matter of accent. So we brought on a Brit and his lovely accent and boy howdy did it smarten up the show. So God save the Queen and the MitchCast with this episode, The Official BritCast. British listener Patch joins us along with Captain Coupon, Chef Guy, and introducing Michael the Outspoken. It's absolutely brilliant, if I do say so myself. (Once we get past the language barrier, that is.) Why listen? Well, glad you asked. You will get a hearty helping of the usual drivel, sprinkled with British commentary. I don't want to tell you too much, but you will be glad you listened to find out what a "bum-bag" is. You'll also be riveted by our reviews of Oogavé (http://www.oogave.com/OOgave/index.cfm) and Coconut Water (http://www.tastenirvana.com/default.php), this seasons breakaway beverage hits. At least with some folks. Don't bring it up with Chuck Noland, he's not too kind in his review. Plus, gentle listener, we have plenty of food talk including the Chip Butty (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_butty), Spotted Dick (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_dick), and Buffalo Wild Wings (http://www.buffalowildwings.com/). Luckily we have a few food experts in the house to keep everything in check. And there's the Captain, bringing us his usual round of fantastic savings. This week we are graced by his actual presence and the deal you don't want to miss, which turns every day into a Friday. Yes, T.G.I.F. (http://www.tgifridays.com/home/welcome.aspx) and $5 off your table's purchase of $15 or more. So take your loved one and sit at separate tables for maximum savings! So much more to tell you, but must get this bad boy out the door. Be prepared for episode 161 later this week, plus we return to Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) this Sunday at 9:30pm Pacific. Until then! The MitchCast 160 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/photo-2-300x224.jpg)It's a show. It's a show with two guys talking. It's a show with two guys talking about wives and kids. It's a show with two guys talking about food and movies. It's a show with two guys talking about what guys with wives and kids talk about when they're not talking about food and movies. This show, this particular show, has so much to offer. So much, that offering it for free is almost like highway robbery, without the highway or the robbing. Still, you'll wonder how a show of this magnitude can even be so free. Then, you'll wonder how I could throw down with Chris Martin (http://www.chrismartinstudios.com/) at The Stepping Stone Cafe (http://www.steppingstonecafe.com/), and lose. Yes, I recount the painful experience of a man-cake no holds barred lunch, and how I was unable to bring it. What else? A metric ton of other wonderful subjects that bedazzle and amaze. So start listening, stop reading, and remember, I hate writing the posts for these things. Sorry to disappoint. Sorry you had to find out this way. But it is true. Next episode should prove to be a real barn burner, whatever that means. Stay tuned my friends. Stay tuned. The MitchCast 159 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/photo-300x224.jpg)Grab your sacks, it's time for a little cornhole action! Yeah, you heard me right. It's time to put away the shame and proudly say, "Yes, I do some cornholing now and again, and I like it." In an odd twist of events, I happen to spot Sean engaged in some "interesting" activity in another friend's garage. As it turns out, they were getting ready for some cornhole action themselves. Still in the process of building the equipment, Sean does spill the beans on this episode as we get to the bottom of the cornhole subject (so to speak). I should take this moment to attend to some corrections. We mention the site cornhole.org, which is incorrect. For cornhole information, you should check out these sites: * American Cornhole Association (playcornhole.org) (http://www.playcornhole.org/index.php) * Cornhole.com - Your Official Cornhole Store (http://cornhole.com/) * Portland's Home for Cornhole (http://www.holeshotboards.com/index.html) * Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornhole) *All of these are safe for work, so do not fear. Unless you work in a corn hostile environment, or for the ethanol industry. There is some other talk going on in this episode. Sure, we'd love to do two hours of non-stop cornhole talk, and you'd love to hear it, but we have other issues to tackle. Like Mo's Dark Chocolate Bacon Bar (http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/product/mos_dark_chocolate_bacon_bar/exotic_candy_bars) and the Ikea sparkling pear beverage. Oh, and guess who's finally crossed over to the Regal Beagle (http://www.regmovies.com/) and joined the Crown Club? Yeah... there is still some shame in it. We'll see if the free small popcorn every 30th movie pays off. And the pride in whipping out that card in front of friends. Plus, I plea with Sean and you the listener to help me solve a big life problem. You'll have to listen and then chime in. I won't go into it here, but can you say "flesh-colored leather collection?" Oh, did I get your attention?! There's actually a whole lot more in this action packed cornhole-flesh-colored-leather-and-popcorn extravaganza, but I can't recall and you all know I don't listen to these things. C'mon, you know me better than that. Until next time... (MitchCast Mention: Grantland.com (http://www.grantland.com/), check it out! Bill Simmons, Sports and pop culture.) Sorry for the short burn on this one, but the Captain did provide: (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/image001-300x297.png) | 8/10/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 158 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/IMG_0616-300x224.jpg)This week The MitchCast welcomes two sustainatarians freshly back from the San Diego Hygiene Convention. For those not in the know, this happens to take place at the same time as the Comic-Con (http://www.comic-con.org/), and coincidently, at the same location. Also going on at the same time, Crappy Costume Con. Listen as our guests Aren and Scott recount their first visit to The Con (http://www.comic-con.org/). Learn from their experience so you can plan your own excursion and costume. Plus, find out the secret to the heavy stench of body odor that permeates the hall, how to acquire and avoid it. But wait, there's more! (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/P1010120-300x225.jpg)Find out about my recent date night and how it didn't end up at Target, and where to go for your next tasty burger. Plus, the secret to refrigerator water filters is finally revealed. Unfortunately we didn't have the time last week to get all this discussion in, so luckily we were able to squeeze in another 50 minutes of water filter talk, this time from some true sustainatarians. There's more to it that that, but it's past time to release this episode into the wild. You should feel so grateful that you click on the Tip Jar to the right and donate! Yes you! Keep it real until next time, and next time really keep up, okay! | 8/5/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 157 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/photo-e1311793276439-224x300.jpg)And here we go again. Of course, these episodes would come out Tuesday, maybe even Monday, if I didn't have to write the post. I don't even know if anyone really reads them. Part of the purpose is to make sure search engines can index some of the audio content. Can't really say if that is working either. So you, dear reader, can now listen to me complain about writing. I think I got into the podcasting gig because you just have to talk. Little did I know about the work involved on the site side! Sure, I can write a witty sentence now and again, but week after week...suddenly I realize the difficulty of writers who must produce content over and over again. My hat is off to you fine folks. Okay, so about this episode. Let's see if I can't schlep some words out in case you want to know what you're getting into before you listen. First off, the show in general is two family guys with day jobs talking about everything from life issues to food and movies. More about the latter two topics, but we do try to mix in the occasional serious topic. This time we do dive into some things on my mind. Mainly, can you still aspire to something when you are in your late thirties, with a full house, a day job, and limited resources. I get the Cast to open up about his dreams, and frankly I was a little surprised. In a good way, mind you. We do bat around a few movie ideas I've been stewing on, since that is what I like to do (stew but never actually take any action). See what you think and if you can improve upon the movie concepts yourself. I'd love to hear your ideas. Maybe we can even get one of these into a script outline. Wouldn't that be a change for me. If you like the Movie Stub Vault, be prepared for another quick guess as I put this one down in short order. If you don't know what the Movie Stub Vault is, then listen and find out. Captain Coupon takes a pass, though I think we dropped the ball, not him. So I'll take the blame for not getting the email out in time. Still, last week's deal is good and can be found on the post for The MitchCast 156. (http://themitchcast.com/2011/07/20/the-mitchcast-156/) There is of course the usual amount of droll banter, and a summer drink review of Jarritos (http://jarritos.com/jarritos.html) Mineragua (http://www.novamex.com/mineragua). We stack it against Vacation In a Bottle (http://www.drinkvib.com/)and Topo Chico (http://www.topochico.com/). If you have a low calorie recommendation you'd like us to review, send your idea to feedback at the mitchcast dot com. We'll be sure to do our best to get to it. All that and so much more. Words cannot describe what else this episode contains. Well, I guess I could listen and tell you more, but that would take the fun out of it for you and , let's face it, kill me. Until next week! | 7/27/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 156 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/IMG_81361-300x200.jpg)And there was one more. I call it episode one hundred fifty-six. It is shiny and new and easily in the top 100 episodes of all time. Yes, you read that right. Of ALL time. Make no mistakes, mince no words, this is quality with a capital "QUAL". Too much to cover in a post of poorly written jokes and badly phrased phrases. But I'll try... First off (and if you're reading this, you may have noticed the photo) we got feedback! Yes, that's when a listener takes a moment to send email, comment on the site, or leave a voice message. Of course, don't expect to get your picture on the site if you send feedback. Though there is a good chance you will, seeing as how the line goes out the back and around the corner. Technically Sean and I are on vacation during this episode, but we still managed to crank it out. Vacation...In a Bottle, beotch. They said it couldn't be done. That the trip to the moon was an attempt at recovering the technology. That the space time continuum would fold. And yet, the fine folks at, uh, Vacation In a Bottle (http://www.drinkvib.com/), have created a vacation in a bottle. And like Nancy Grace on an OJ trial, we bring you the full coverage and our reviews, as judge, jury and vacationer. This of course leads to our next great invention. You remember our other ones, like berry flavored duct tape and gun oil flavored gum, right? Well, how about Overtime In a Bottle?! YEAH! Now you can get all your work done and a vacation, all in the same day. No need to worry about getting docked vacation time for drinking Vacation In a Bottle when you can make it up with Overtime In a Bottle. Listen to hear more. We can't talk about me without mentioning two things. One, Oregon weather is currently sucking. Two, I don't like Michael Fassbender (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1055413/), and I explain why. Not quite. In fact, I don't even give much reason, but it is riveting stuff folks. Like, watching paint peel. Okay, okay. We do talk about other stuff aside from these few topics, like movies (surprise surprise). And we should say the Captain is back, fresher and Baja-ier than ever. (Gee, wonder where he was on vacation?) And let's not forget Movie Stub Vault. Of course, if you play along, you'll have to be quick this week because I nail it thanks to The Cast's clues. What can I say, I'm friggin' good. That, and Sean practically spells it out, but who's counting. And that is, as they say, is a wrap. Or rap? Or crap?? Until next movement... Corrections: Timothy Olyphant (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0648249/) plays Todd, not Simon in "Go (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0139239/)". The MitchCast 155 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/photo-2-e1310506652637-224x300.jpg)Special downer episode, brought to you by The Cast. The episode starts out harmless enough, with a wrap up of the July 4th weekend and Captain Brownstain. No lost fingers or drownings and I call it a smashing success. Sean on the other hand has the great road trip barf extravaganza to report. This somehow turns into abuse victims and human tragedy, always brought to you by Nancy Grace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Grace). We do turn things around somehow, and have an excellent talk about fireworks, then and now, along with a subject very near and dear to my heart: diving (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diving) boards. Oh yes, we can carve out a whole episode on diving boards and the great decline of the swimming pool system. You thought the home mortgage crisis was bad, wait until you hear about the greatest American fraud! If you made it this far, then feel free to send in money and help me build a real swimming pool complete with spring boards so my kids can have a real childhood. PayPal donation button located somewhere on the side of the site. If enough people help out, I'll build swimming pools in all our listener communities. So what are you waiting for?! The usual suspects are half here. The Captain gets a week off after such a sale fueled patriotic weekend. We do bring the Movie Stub Vault off the shelf though. So play along and see if you can guess faster than I! Thanks again to the house band, Sugarplex (http://sugarplex.com/), who has never released permission for the use of their song, "909". The MitchCast 154 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/photo-1-300x224.jpg)Ping pong, playing left handed, and switching it up. That's special cruise lingo but I can't tell you what it means right here. You'll have to actually listen to the episode to find out. But beware, it is safe for work! And should you choose to listen to the episode in its entirety (yes, the whole thing), you will hear discussion about where I should take my wife for a "getaway". That's not special lingo. It just means spending a bunch of money I don't have. There is talk about Las Vegas and legal hookers. Kool-Aid man says, "Oh YEAH!!!" Then a talk about road trips, then and now. Techniques and tips? Yeah, probably not. We've been called out on our "advice" before so think of this as our personal approaches to driving long distance. White line fever anyone? Of course no MitchCast is complete without a little movie talk, including Movie Stub Vault as well as the current box office. We also work on a new movie pitch. You'll want to tune in because then you can say, "I was there when they thought of it." This week we have a MitchCast mention. Indeed, it's a double. First, I recently discovered American Crew (http://americancrew.com/) hair products. Most specifically the pomade, forming cream, and fiber. And where can you buy these products at a good price? Why StockNGo (http://www.stockngo.com/)! The good folks have great prices and free shipping on orders over $25, plus an extra 20% off your first two orders. Speaking of deals, Captain Coupon helps us get organized with a deal from Storables (http://www.storables.com/). Yes, $10 off your purchase of $35 or more, OR, 25% off your purchase of $100 or more. Now is the time to get that craphole you call a garage into shape! We'll see you next month! The MitchCast 153 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/IMG_1531-224x300.jpg)This week on a very special Father's Day edition of The MitchCast, we take time to discuss at great length, mineral water (http://www.topochico.com/). This is no ordinary water, mind you. It may have been born from the tears of indigenous peoples, genuflecting in shame for their misdeeds by the waterfall of no judgement. Or, it could just be another Mexican tonic water. It's so hard to tell these days. If you're not offended by the water, then you'll certainly want to tune in for the other ten minutes of the show, wherein we tackle the other great injustice of the week: compact parking. (It's not just a lifestyle choice.) And if you really take the time to listen, like you know you can, you might hear The Cast share some choice words on the subject. A quick tip: if you face incarceration for keying a car, plea bargain the offense up to something reputable. The extra 3-6 will be well worth it in the yard. The Captain sends his warmest regards, and a treat. What's more, we are going to post it this time!! Yeah, imagine that. A coupon you can actually find and use. Go figure. Thanks again to everyone who downloads the show. Double thanks to those who actually play it. And many great thanks to both of you who listen. Until next time! The MitchCast 152 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/photo1-e1308243464304-224x300.jpg)What do you get the man who has everything? Why, a grizzly bear infested parcel of land! Not only will he appreciate and love his new grizzly bear ranch, it will keep him from crashing your trips to Botswana and Lesotho. Going to Ghana? Want to leave Mr. Grumbly-pants at home? Get him the gift that gives back. And guys, this is great for you too. "Ah honey, I'd love to go with you to mosquito infested Chad, but we've got a bear club meeting this Thursday." Oops! The first rule of bear club is you don't talk about bear club. But you get the idea. The folks at Vital Ground (http://www.vitalground.org/) have put the "bear" back in "beard charity". But seriously, Vital Ground (http://www.vitalground.org/) is doing an important work. You should check out their site and especially the story of Bart the bear. The videos (http://youtu.be/mAOc3mKWzyo) are intriguing and you can't but help fall in love with these giants. Do something good for a change and make a donation. Want to do something not-so-good? Listen to this entire episode to hear even more great subjects. Like what, you ask? How about organization and Evernote (http://www.evernote.com/). Why not giving to charity is actually putting money in their pockets. And, some great move wrap ups, including The Hangover Part II (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1411697/), X-Men: First Class (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1270798/), and Bridesmaids (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1478338/). The MitchCast 151 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/photo-300x225.jpg)This is the Memorial Day special, three days after Memorial Day. What's so special? Technically, nothing. But when you start to listen, it will eerily remind you of the day before Memorial Day. I like to call it, "Sunday". Now that all the smoke has cleared and your barbecue grill has cooled off (and I use the term "barbecue" very loosely here), join us for a wonderful ride down Humor Lane as it intersects with Comedy Street then runs right into Boring Boulevard. We pack this show so tight, it's bursting at the seams with grade A first class American made drivel. Working from home, or more appropriately called, "working from home", turns into "I hate you stupid corporate laptop" and "I'm going to quit". To avoid the latter I turn the mobile asset over to a t**d expert, Duncan, my son. This provides both he and I entertainment as he attempts to destroy the laptop and I get to watch. After that story we make up a movie based on a real life experience I would like to have. I can't type it here because if any of the seven MitchCast listeners is a fed, then I might be brought in for questioning. Or worse, sent to an island to live as a peasant for the rest of my life! Starring Russell Crowe, in theaters Summer 2013. With the holiday I can't help but regale everyone with tales of hamburger making and how it ought to be done. Yes, I have opinion about grilling burgers and I share it. And you might be surprised. In fact, you might downright wish you could attend one of the rare grillings that I put on. Now who's laughing? There's more. Much more. Yes, Sean, "The Cast", is not handy. Well, maybe he is, but I'm definitely not. I might appear to the extremely "un-handy" to be handy, but that's because I have a brain and I can read. (At least the reading part is true.) The point is, kiss your weekend goodbye with the put-it-together-yourself backyard playground. The regulars also show up in this episode. The Captain and the Vault to be specific. That's near the end, so you have to either fast forward or just listen. The choice is up to you. Choose wisely. The MitchCast 150 | 150. We made it. Barely. Probably could have done it sooner if we hadn't spent so much time at the bus depot, but hey, we gots to pay the bills some how! What's this episode all about? That is the question of the hour. Technically, I was there. Sean was there, too. We talked, I think, and there was some discussion. It may or may not have been intelligent. Probably not. There was some part about movies. And that, my friends is everything you need to know. Okay, I admit, I didn't have the time to write a post. Again. It's a podcast for your ears. I'm not a writer. Heck, calling myself a podcaster is a stretch. If you'd like to be a guest writer for the next episode, please send an email to feedback at the mitchcast dot com. Until next week, remember the titans. The MitchCast 149 | Hello? Testing...testing...is this thing on? So what's the deal with MitchCasts? The people have spoken, and now we are proud to present, Episode 149. And that's all she wrote. What's it about, you ask? I don't know. You'll have to listen and find out. One thing's for sure, it's good. Real good. Or not. It could just be two guys rambling on about kids, wives, movies, and food. In fact, I'm pretty sure, once we get past the technical issues of this episode, that's all it's about. And that's all I'm going to write. Why? I don't think anyone reads the posts. I sure as hell don't. Enjoy, look for us next week with a brand new episode called, 150! The MitchCast 147 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/IMG_1195-300x224.jpg)A new week, a new episode. Like usual, we pack in tons of great tips, advice, helpful information, facts, and recipes. It's pretty much Martha Stuart minus the prison time and worldwide audience. In fact we're probably in some legal grey areas with our show... Oh the humanity! I broke the cardinal rule: Sean cannot sound better than me. Well, I didn't realize what this stupid little switch on my microphone was for. Apparently it makes me sound like I'm talking through a pillow. Painful to listen to but it sure makes The Cast shine this week. You can expect a lot in this wonderful new episode. There's the welcoming of a new Platinum Donor, some washing machine math, and discussion of The Big Green Egg (http://www.biggreenegg.com/). We talk space shuttles, eating, date night at Target, and so much more. How much more, you ask? Have you noticed the recent growing surplus of Diet Coke in your local grocer's aisle? Well there is an explanation: someone gave up the silver dragon. You'll have to listen to find out more, but be forewarned, it's not for the faint of drink. Oh it still goes beyond that even. Can you say "SuckerPunch" (http://suckerpunchmovie.warnerbros.com/), not-quite-like-Doctor-Who "Torchwood" (http://www.bbcamerica.com/content/262/index.jsp), and Captain Coupon's deal of the week? (By the way, the deal is, Papa John's (http://www.papajohns.com/index.html)coupon code FRIMAD and you get any pizza, any toppings, $7.99. I believe it is only Fridays. Try it out and report back.) Dr. Dan, this episode is dedicated to you, buddy. Everyone else, you listen because we let you! Dating advice? What better source than two married guys with kids who haven't dated for well over a decade?(Hmm, that sentence sounds wrong.) Just busting at the seams with wisdom, you'll wonder why we don't write a book, it's that good. Some brief iPad 2 (http://www.apple.com/ipad/) chatter is sprinkled in there, because everyone else is talking about it. C'mon, you know I'm an Apple Fanboy. It has to come up sooner or later. Of course the biggest news of all: positive home pregnancy test. Oh yes, it's true. You'll have to hear the story to believe your eyes. Send donations to the PayPal link at the side, no amount too small. Good news for the local McDonald's: Sean got a new car for his wife. Sean also knows a guy that can get you $2500 for an old mini-van filled with french fries. Well, maybe not $2500 after all. Buy you can keep the fries! The MitchCast 145 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/photo-225x300.jpg)I can't write these posts anymore folks. I just can't. Really. I'm not a "writer" by nature. Sure, I'm good and witty and talented, and many of you are envious of my wordsmithery, but that's not what I do. I know, seeing me throw away such potential is painful for those of you who can barely update your Facebook status. With so much talent it's difficult for me to focus in on just one gift. I will however attempt to give you a glimpse into this episode. I'm sure it starts off slow and dry and finishes rough and long. Like a bad Merlot, it's cheap and never quite breathes. (Actually, I don't know a thing about wine, so if you're a wine aficionado don't be offended. I learned it all from "Sideways".) We do start with a tale of Joel Northrup, the Iowa wrestler who thinks it's perfectly okay to participate in a league where women are allowed to wrestle. In fact, the state champion in Joel's weight class is a woman, whom Joel lost to. Sad story, really. What's even more sad, I share my personal triumph from my wrestling years so long ago. Thanks coach Sanville, you inspired a legend. Unfortunately, it wasn't me. Still, I hold my head up high. The Cast and I then reminisce about our "lighter" years. You know, back when we thought we were out of shape. What I wouldn't give... This topic came about because I share the story(but not the photos) of my "before" pictures recently taken in my skivvies. Painful to look at or even talk about. Oh the horror. It's not all pain though. Sean discovered Turbo Tax and I started a retirement fund! What's more, we share our personal feelings on tax refunds. It's a heartwarming story of men and their money, and their triumph over the man. Look for it at your local video store in June. We also manage to mix some Oscar talk in as well as our own acceptance speeches. Sean, I know, is speechless, so be prepared when he wins! The MitchCast 144 | http://vimeo.com/20255587 This week The MitchCast welcomes back two very special guests. Brothers, in fact. What's more, they are Sean's brothers. One of them you all know as Captain Coupon. The other, well he's still struggling with the title, but it sounds like he's interested in going Commando or something. Like most episodes, this one does devolve into food. But it was pointed out that that's what we are known for. Remember what Adam Carolla (http://www.adamcarolla.com) said about us, "They're a little local cuisine place, and they're called MitchCast, and the stuff is unbelievable!" So we have lived up to our name in Adam's eyes. Sure there is some talk about Ikea (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/), but haven't we all heard the classic story of how it took you ten times as long to install something because you weren't able to follow the Swedish hieroglyphics the first 3 times. Well, hear it again and be satisfied you don't live with me!! We do talk about barbecue, and I'm talking about the real barbecue, not your misused grill-a-cue. We set the record straight. Of course we can't bring up ribs without some talk about my "hand thing" and the ample use of latex. Yeah, you wanna know more. Two guests means a double dip in the Movie Stub Vault, so play along as I crush it this week. This opens up some movie talk and Oscar (http://www.oscars.org/) buzz. Hear our picks and see how right we are, because there's one thing we know, it's food—I mean movies. All this and more are in store, as we don't bore. Typing this is a chore? The MitchCast 143 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/IMG_0017-300x200.jpg)Tuesdays. Remember those? Back when we used to release the latest MitchCast, and you waited anxiously by your computer for the announcement so you could start downloading. Or when you used to stay up on Sunday nights so you could tune in to two guys and a green screen, streaming live on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast)? I'm not saying those days are back. But it is Tuesday... Another mobile episode from the McStudio. This time we talk about--surprise surprise--TV and movies. What a break from the norm, eh? We're guys, what do you expect?! It's either TV, movies, sports, or food. Maybe women and sex if we were single, but let's not talk about dreams. Those are for people with aspirations and hope. And less than 1.2 kids. While it may be old hat to me, I do tell the story of how I got my 42" LG TV (I know, it's not that big by today's standards) and actually faked crying on the phone to try and get some money back. You'll have to listen to hear the whole story, but let's just say this was Oscar nominating material. I give some tips on how to cut down on your cable bill and the services I have found to be useful, including Netflix (http://netflix.com) and Vudu (http://www.vudu.com). Also, the most important thing is how to get rid of the "fake" look on your new HD TV. Sean, still without a new TV, does discuss the merits of non-commissioned sales persons at the local Best Buy (http://wwww.bestbuy.com) in contrast to another store where I hear they have plasmas... Tune in for that exciting story you don't want to miss. Searching for Carrie Fisher (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_Fisher), the new Jenny Craig (http://www.jennycraig.com/) film is out and what it means to us. This is of course a discussion on weight loss from two experts, myself and The Cast. So really, this part of the show is chock full of good advice and pointers money can't buy. We bring back Movie Stub Vault, so you can play along and win absolutely nothing. It's almost like Christmas, without the gifts, the fun, the tree, and cutthroat mall parking. Thank your lucky stars and tell friend. (Find out if she has a sister to, and tell her!) | 2/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 142 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/IMG_1013-300x224.jpg)Another exciting episode from our home away from home, the place with The Play Place, home of the McSalty and $1 bottomless sodas-- your neighborhood McDonalds! And what a show we pack in, complete with brown humor! Ah, but to start off the show we say a fond farewell to past guest Ryan Bush, who is now living in his van in San Diego. Possibly down by the river. Or is he? We theorize the money making scheme we call "the double-triple". Watch your local cable listings for the made for TV special. Thanks to Ryan's finishing move, the shower, we get into a healthy, and hearty, discussion about bathroom technique. No need to worry, it's safe for work. My excellent and over-well-thought out train analogy does the trick at disguising the potty talk. Shower any one? Smattered about is of course important topics like hand washing, babysitting, the Little Caesars Pizza (http://www.littlecaesars.com/) deal, crusts, leftovers, and the painting project that nearly led to a stabbing… And more. We finishing off with more exciting TV talk as I contemplate whether or not I ordered a new TV big enough for the wall. This and how I plan to get off the cable, is yours for absolutely free. The MitchCast 141 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/photo1-225x300.jpg)No fancy write up here! I'm behind, okay. Yes, it happens. There are episodes, they just go directly into the "lost archives" to be uncovered years from now and used as bonus materials on the DVD. Now about the live streaming that we haven't done. Ahem, it could be laziness, but I like to call it logistics scheduling difficulties. You see, sometimes arranging the studio can be troublesome, especially if it gets filled up with crap. Crap that I didn't put there. Crap that doesn't belong there. Crap that appears there. About this episode? Just listen to it. I know we talk about Man v. Food (http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Man_V_Food) and hair. Oh, but you really want to hear the part where we take the alcoholism test and apply it to eating. As it turns out, both of us are full blown alcoholics! And if I didn't mention it, this is a mobile episode, so we take you with us to our favorite watering hole, home of the McSalty and $1 soda. So get your food on and gather up your inferior companions. It's time for The MitchCast!! | 1/27/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 140 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/photo-224x300.jpg)Considering marriage? Thinking about children? While it is not advice per se, we discuss the merits of marriage and children using the case study of Dr. Dan. Is he living the dream or headed towards bachelor confirmation? You decide. Apparently America can get dumber. Yes, Little Fockers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970866/) has been the runaway holiday box office hit and it apparently is rubbing Sean the wrong way. And let him tell you how, if he hasn't already! Don't worry, we do dedicate more time to True Grit (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1403865/)and give our reviews. Spoiler alert? I don't know. But I will say this: perhaps the best comedy in the theater right now. If you've not seen it, or the original, or read the book, listen anyway. The girl dies in the end. Did I mention spoiler alert? I also take time to regale you with the story of the only time I've left a movie to use the bathroom. Don't worry, it's only a number one. The whole thing comes up because of Movie Stub vault. All that, a coupon, and the regular helping of semi-entertaining discussion amidst ninety minutes of droning. Get ready to glaze up! Want to hear the show sooner? Watch us live on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) most Sundays at 9:30pm Pacific. Or visit our channel (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) any time to see past shows. The MitchCast 139 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/walkman_effected-225x300.jpg)Taking it to the streets! That's right friends, another mobile MitchCast brought to you by the fine folks at Sean's Gas Tank. So don't write in and ask, "What's that sound? Are you driving around??" Because the answer is yes. We are in the Tacoma Studio. In this episode we get wrapped up in a conversation about televisions. Apparently there is a newer technology out there better than the CRT. A few in fact: plasma, LCD, and LED. Guess who's planning on getting one? Yep, both of us. Guess who still uses a CRT? Yep, both of us. Sad and true. But who will get one first?? Surprise surprise, we talk about movies. And, I bring along the Movie Stub Vault so be prepared to play along and see if you can guess before I do. This leads into a discussion about a comedic actor and his filmography. Join the discussion and send in some feedback to us if you like! That's feedback [at] themitchcast [dot] com. There some other stuff in there, for sure, but I'm too lazy to keep listening the podcast. I was there people, I LIVED IT! I don't need to listen any more than you do! The MitchCast 138 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/slot_cars_effected-224x300.jpg)Call it another Christmas episode, call it a birthday special, or call it hilarious laughs for you and the whole family. I call it done. In the can. On the web. In the iTunes. On your iPod. Done. Next! Like all episodes, this one is packed with a variety of topics. Sure, there's the whole "my birthday" topic, and how I hate them. But beyond that, we finally give some airtime to slot cars. You remember those, don't you? Well, if anyone can devote an hour and a half to slot cars it's The MitchCast. Just kidding! It's only about an hour for slot cars. Cause then we have to move on to cover Christmas gift buying secrets of the experts. Actually, to call ourselves "experts" at anything but talking laboriously about nothing, is a stretch. Tune in and decide for yourself. You may learn something new (or what NOT to do). I talk vaguely about Duke Fightmaster (http://www.dukefightmaster.com/), thanks to a recent episode of This American Life (http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/421/last-man-standing), and this sort of sparks some conversation about my future endeavors. Mainly, I talk about the documentary I keep saying I want to do, but don't. Yeah, chalk it up to yet another one of those times, when I say I'm going to do something and don't. A trip to the Movie Stub Vault and a visit from Captain Coupon is always in fashion. The Captain brings us savings from Yankee Candle (http://www.yankeecandle.com/cgi-bin/ycbvp/retail.jsp) because nothing says "your studio smells" like a scented candle from your wife! And as a quick mention, check out "American" Top Gear (http://www.history.com/shows/top-gear) and compare notes with Sean to see if he is right or wrong about the yankee spin on the popular show. The feeling is that the hosts are going to ruin any chance it has of survival on The History Channel (http://www.history.com/). Want to see the show live? Or just curious what we look like, sardined into the studio in front of the green screen? Go to Ustream.TV (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) and search for "MitchCast". Tune in live Sundays at 9:30pm Pacific for the taping or visit any time to see past videos. It's worth checking out. (Not really, but my marketing department made me say that!) Until we have a chance to fill your ears with audio sewage again! (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/yankee-candle-300x130.png) | 12/15/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 137 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/photo-e1291849907342-224x300.jpg)Christmas, Christmas, time is here! Now where's my $400 robot from the Wish Book (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/dap_10153_12605_DAP_Holiday+Wishbook)?! Now there's a shattered childhood dream. Thanks a lot, Santy Claus. Or should I be thanking Sears (http://www.sears.com/)? Who knows what I would have made of myself with that robot... Anyway, not an entirely holiday themed episode, we do talk about Christmas trees, real and fake, Nobles and Doug Firs, lights and decorating. I'm sure it's charming and nostalgic and everything you want in your life. One important event you should tune in for, is a teaser of another Mobile MitchCast episode. I don't even want to give it away, but let's just say it will leave you speechless...and begging for more. Similar to the McRib, which I hear goes by the name Senor Macho Solo in Puerto Rico. Speaking of offshore, I talk about recent efforts at work to outsource jobs and how that's going. Personally, I've thought of outsourcing my job myself, then I can pick up a second job, maybe outsource that. Hmm, methinks a business plan is in the works... Somehow I lead us into the world of salespeople--salespersons--whatever--and how I could never be one. Not because I have a spine and integrity and human decency and value honesty and sincerity, but because I don't like lying to myself. Yep, you won't find me selling water to a drowning man. After hearing that Groupon (http://www.groupon.com/) turned down some $6 billion dollars (that's six thousand million in Mitch-speak) we hatch an idea for Captain Coupon and a website. It offers deals and such. Pretty much like Groupon, but we would sell it to Google for a fraction of the cost. The writing is on the wall. Captain does bring us a deal and I am inspired by his good deeds as well. Sean just blathers on about being the world's greatest stocking stufferer (or is it stocking stuffer stuffer?). That's fine and dandy, just please let mine be filled with the right predictions for the Oscars this year, which are being hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway. We chime in on them as well. That's it. MitchCast mention: Woot.com (http://www.woot.com/), Wow, free loot!! (Someone should check on that definition.) PS- There is a live show on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) every Sunday at 9:30pm Pacific. The MitchCast 136 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/IMG_0518-224x300.jpg)What? No fancy shmancy write up? No post laden with links? Yep. I'm spent for the week. So what? Send me some feedback if you care. I actually don't recall much. I do know we streamed lived on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast). I do know I pretty much offended all female vocalists in the first minute. I mentioned Thanksgiving. Something about homemade cider and the biproducts (see attached photo). I think we talk about Sean's final succumbing to the NetFlix meme and the Captain "Feeds It Forward (http://feeditforward.restaurant.com/)" with Restaruant.com (http://feeditforward.restaurant.com/). The MitchCast 135 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/cabin_window-225x300.jpg)Last week's discussion of football and chili dogs could only lead to one thing: watching football and eating chili dogs. Then talking about it. And talk of food this week can only lead to one thing: Thanksgiving. And you can't talk Thanksgiving without talking about travel. Of course travel talk involves the good ol' TSA (http://www.tsa.gov/). (Yes, we had to go there. Why not, everyone else is talking about it!) But even better, I give you the truth about terrorism, security theater, and a handful of holiday terrorizing tips. It's not all gravy and lung bombs though. We take the time this season to talk about movies. It's what we do least worst, and that's debatable. You'll have to decide for yourself though, if you've got grit. Expellius flatulentacus! The regulars are here this week. The great Captain Coupon brings us two holiday deals and we also take a dip in the Movie Stub Vault. The MitchCast Mention this week is for our new friends at Y-Chrome (http://www.y-chromebarbering.com/). If you are in the Portland area and want to give them a try, go and mention that you heard about them on The MitchCast and get your first haircut for half price! You can't beat that. The MitchCast 134 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/chili_boats_effected-245x300.jpg)What an episode! We cram packed this baby with so much good stuff it's like the world's greatest plate of nachos! And we kick it all off with the song "The Matador" from Wakeside (http://www.reverbnation.com/wakeside), because we are killer! Have a listen to more on ReverbNation (http://www.reverbnation.com/wakeside) then be sure to show them some love on iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/wakeside/id349990458). We do start the episode off with some somber news involving a recent homicide by my place of work. Therefore we dedicate this episode to the recently departed Donald Polk. May he rest in peace. It's not all downer though. Unless our discussion of Robert Duvall (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000380/)'s hair, rather lack of, is a little too close to home for you. Surely you'll find some pleasure in our discussion of fine films from the past and future. Or you'll just glaze up like I did during The Apostle (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118632/). My attempt at being a "football guy" only opens up a world of hurt, starting with a realization that Safeway has a crappy selection. This only trumped by the fact that 1.5 quarts is the new half gallon of ice cream! Unless you're Tillamook (http://www.tillamookcheese.com/OurProducts/IceCream/), then it's 1.75 quarts. Either way, we are all screwed!! Chili dogs, nachos, and toaster ovens. Need I say more? I mean, more than we already said in 90 minutes of discussion? Seriously, my mouth is watering and my bowels are burning just saying the words. Sweet succulent sauerkraut, come to papa! Along with regular Captain Coupon and Movie Stub Vault, we bring another exciting edition of Made Up Audio Book. That's right folks, Whitaker is back! Tune in to see how well he's doing under my misguided talent. Plus, this week's MitchCast mention goes out to Buckyballs (http://www.getbuckyballs.com/)! Want a great deal on Buckyballs, visit Buy.com (http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=218209732). What are Buckyballs? I like to think of them as toys you give your kids because you really want to play with them yourself. All that and a bag of chips in this episode. Later! The MitchCast 133 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/IMG_0483-225x300.jpg)Didn't you hear? McRib (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McRib) is back! I don't know why they didn't just call this beauty "McLovin", becuase that's what fake pig meat packed into the shape of rack of ribs says to me. This is such a compelling topic in fact, it's any wonder we have time to talk about anything else. But somehow we do... We squeeze in a brief look back at what happened last weekend which inevitably demands some sweet talk, as in candy. Sean takes time to reveal his latest invention, Edible Candy Wrappers: The Savior of Husbands. Then with all the food talk I naturally gravitate to my old mistress, Taco Bell (http://www.tacobell.com/). Being a court appointed expert witness on the matter, I explain why the Enchirito® (http://www.tacobell.com/menuitem/Enchirito) failed in it's second life. See if you don't agree with the expert! Thanks to Superfan Steve and his lovely sidekick for putting together the Fans of The MitchCast Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_139509532767991). Anyone with Facebook membership can join the group. In fact, we'd love to have ya! All that and a Captain Coupon Deal?! You bet, but you've got to act fast because my tardiness means the clock is ticking on this deal from the Baskin Robbins (http://www.baskinrobbins.com/). Thanks again to the Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) viewers for your participation. The MitchCast 132 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/ale-mitchell-first-300x236.png)Good listener, do not be deceived! This is the episode recorded live on Halloween. It's just now making it to your ears because…I am lazy. There. I said it. I admit it. Are you happy?! The next show will follow very soon. This episode welcomes a very special guest: the CEO of my Family. If you don't know what that means, then you don't know the family. It's my lovely wife, Alessandra. She joins the show while The Cast takes the night off. (Seems two of his employees had book reports for him to do.) Being Halloween and all, we take the necessary time to discuss candy. Oh yeah. This also marks the official beginning of the fat season, so hats off to overeating food that's not quite healthy! Waistline, I'll see you again next year! During the course of this show, you'll get to enjoy my wife making me a little uncomfortable as I'm held to a much higher standard. But we have a good time and double dip in the Movie Stub Vault and discuss the truth behind Costco savings. Thanks to everyone who joined us on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast). You can watch this and previous episodes at Ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast. The MitchCast 131 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/campaign_ad-300x224.jpg)Back after one week off with more of the same. I mean, MORE NEW STUFF!! You won't believe your ears. This may be the most riveting podcast about self-targeting shampoo (http://herbalessences.com/us/collections/hydralicious/self_targeting_shampoo.jsp) that you have ever heard. It's true, critics agree, The MitchCast self-targeting podcast gets the job done! Unfortunately we, like everyone else, are not immune to the political season we find ourselves in. Sadly some of our advertising minutes have been purchased for this end. Not to worry, we very briefly discuss the ecological concerns of Mitch and his new point system for candidates based on carbon mailers! But don't worry weary listener, we then talk about salons, haircuts, barber shops, and Y-Chrome (http://www.y-chromebarbering.com/)! And for the new listener, aside from the shampoo-soap-shower-salon talk, we do get on with some real manly stuff like... John Wayne (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wayne). Yeah, Mitch will bedazzle you with facts and knowledge about the Duke! And for the thinker, Sean (a.k.a. The Cast) poses and answers the simple question: what 5 movies are so great that they should never be remade? If you've got your own list, send it in to feedback at the mitchcast dot com and we'll give you a shout out next show! A final thanks to all of our Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) listeners and chatroom contributors. What? You've not watched live? You're missing out. It's like watching 2 coats of paint dry, one coat at a time. You can watch past episodes on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast), or tune in live on Sunday nights at 9:30-ish-esque pm Pacific time. The MitchCast 130 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/rubiks_cube-300x300.jpg)A few days late and a few dollars short. Is that a problem?? We stream this crap live on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast). You can go there the minute we finish and it's available if you ever need your fix in the future. Judging by feedback, that's not the case. In fact, I'm pretty sure no one even noticed that I didn't put this out on the regular Tuesday. Hmm, what's that say...? Okay, I'll shut my grumble hole and tell you briefly what's in store for the eager listener. First off, I have to talk about the recent growing and troubling issue involving putting my kids to sleep. No! Not like that. I mean bedtime and how it's becoming a problem. (However, it's been pointed out that forcing my 9 year old to listen to The MitchCast will put her out like a light!) Then I regale you with my recent trip down memory lane to 1980 and Rubik's Cubes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubik%27s_Cube). I can't wait for the next house party for a chance to awestrike onlookers with some sweet moves and sub 3 minute times. (If you're a real cubist then 3 minutes is enough time to solve maybe 10 cubes, but hey I'm just an entry level dork!) I'll bust out a little R' D' R D, followed by some sweet U' L' U L U F U' F'. Oh yeah!!! We also have all the regular stuff packed into this episode, even though the drops were botched up at the time of the live stream. They're there now so it's sort of extra confusing, but not as confusing as Sean's latest obsession with Brett Favre (http://www.officialbrettfavre.com/home/) texts. Methinks somebody needs to put down the camera and pick up a Rubik's Cube ;-) And Captain Coupon comes through doubly with great deals for your Halloween and pancake needs from Michael's (http://www.michaels.com/) and IHOP (http://www.ihop.com/). Enjoy these while you can!(http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/michaels_oct-300x205.jpg) (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ihop-300x241.jpg) Oh, and because I threatened to strangle a few people who can't make buttermilk pancakes, here's that simple recipe that has served me well for years. Could save your bacon and your life!! * 2 eggs * 2 cups buttermilk * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil * 2 cups flour * 2 tablespoons sugar * 1 teaspoon soda * 1 teaspoon salt *Beat the wet, add the dry. Lumpy is good, hot gridle, flip when they bubble. It's not rocket science man!! Until next time, don't tell me, I already know! | 10/14/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 129 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/photo-4-300x256.jpg)Wow, what an episode! Truly a masterpiece. Okay, perhaps "work in progress" would be a better descriptor. After all, you're not here for the free nachos! Or the funny! Why do we do this, someone remind me... What to expect in this week's episode? How about a story of a $3,000 cup and a children's cold medicine cocktail. Yeah, can you say grape-bubblegum-cherry-orange-a-licious? The only thing better is the taco grilled cheese sandwich. It's furreal. Actually the heart of this episode centers around an apology to my family for last week's episode. I made a mistake and this opens up the discussion about perspectives. How we all see things through our own individual lens and how our experiences and expectations act as filters. We talk about honesty and when we apply it to our relationships. It's more heartfelt than funny, but a subject that I find intriguing. Not to be all touchy-feely, we get back on track with our weekly deal from Captain Coupon along with reviews of "Tyler Perry's Crazy Nun Mask Movie" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0840361/) and "That Facebook Movie" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1285016/). And, let's not forget Movie Stub Vault! (Or "the segment without a real theme song" as I like to think of it.) (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/image001-5-168x300.png) A special thanks as well to Sugarplex (http://sugarplex.com/) for letting use their music in this show. The MitchCast 128 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/photo-3-300x224.jpg)This episode has been called many things, from "Ustream fiasco" to "total train wreck". I just like to call it "done" at this point and move on. So make yourself a stiff one and get ready to enjoy this episode, which has 0 calories despite all the fat. You're sure to find something you'll enjoy. Normally I do a brief rundown for you readers of blog posts, but for this episode I'm giving you the quick and dirty version of the brief rundown. It goes something like this... We begin by struggling with Ustream's connection, leading into me regaling tales of family visits and broken balusters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baluster), front yard grilling and vicodin fires. Then a review of the TriMet TransitTracker™ (http://trimet.org/transittracker/about.htm) radio ads, followed by Captain Coupon and a very botched and bad "Made Up Audio Book". And let's not forget Movie Stub Vault and then a Damon vs. Affleck career choice. Did I mention Mobile Marketing, LLC (http://mobilemarketingllc.com/)? Sprinkle in some borderline humor, some more Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast)and audio issues, and you've basically got yourself a good old fashioned MitchCast. Comedy ensues...? The MitchCast 127 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/photo-2-e1285095562935-224x300.jpg)Where else can you get 30 solid minutes about cereal? That's right, comedy gold, my friends, comedy gold. Not enough time to cover the entire history of cereal, but we do touch on famous players like Shredded Wheat (http://www.postnatural.com/Cereals.aspx) and Cap'n Crunch (http://www.capncrunch.com/). You certainly won't have trouble sleeping tonight! Then I take time to complain about the state of shampoo and conditioner in my home. This as we all know eventually degenerates into a conversation about physics. Thankfully, I cut things short before we are required to discuss the difference between centrifugal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifugal_force) and centripetal force (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centripetal_force). For those who don't listen to Adam Carolla (http://www.adamcarolla.com/ACPBlog/) we do follow up with the shout out we received from the recent DAG episode (http://www.adamcarolla.com/ACPBlog/2010/09/13/dag/). Also we talk about our potential future appearance on Superfan Giovanni's podcast, G.I.O. Get It On (http://giopodcast.com/)! In customary fashion, Captain Coupon prepares us for the upcoming holiday season with wonderful savings from Toys R Us (http://www.toysrus.com/). Thanks Cap'n!(http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/image001-3-300x207.png) Plus, the first installment of Made Up Audio Book, perhaps the world's least useful skill (if it can even be called skill). Painful, over-hyped, and soon to be recurring if you don't write in and complain. Sean does attempt to save it by bringing up Dragon's Lair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon's_Lair), but even Dirk the Daring was not able to save this Princess Daphne! Also the official unveiling of the Trailer TrashCast (http://trailertrashcast.com/) featuring 'The Town'. You can tune in to find our more as well as visit YouTube to watch for yourself (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtxyW7x4ZV4)and give us some feedback. Somehow Glee found its way into the show. I don't know how, but it happened. It wasn't planned, it just sort of slipped out. Also a quick shout out to good friend of the show, Michael K. Williams (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0931324/) of "The Wire" and his recent project, "Boardwalk Empire (http://www.hbo.com/boardwalk-empire?cmpid=ABC458)". We'll report more once we've seen some episodes, but with "Omar (http://www.hbo.com/the-wire/cast-and-crew/index.html#/the-wire/cast-and-crew/omar-little/index.html)" and Steve Buscemi, how can you go wrong. Of course thanks as usual to Mobile Marketing, LLC. We don't know what they did exactly this week, but that's how good they are! Until next time! | 9/21/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 126 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/photo-1-224x300.jpg)Perhaps the most anticipated episode for myself and The Cast, and I don't have a lot to actually write. Surprised? We catered food for Adam Carolla (http://www.adamcarolla.com) and company on September 11, 2010, at the Aladdin Theater (http://www.aladdin-theater.com/) in Portland. Nuff said? In this episode we tell the tale. It really happened. Shocking, I know, but all true. Listen and find out about our adventures with Adam, Donny, Mike, and Superfan Giovanni (http://giopodcast.com/). Not to mention the crew at the Aladdin, who were all fantastic to meet as well. Of course no episode would be complete with out an amazing deal of the week from MitchCast regular, Captain Coupon. And in fine superhero fashion he helps us enjoy the waning summer with some cool treats from not one, but two excellent establishments, with the ever classic, buy one get one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buy_one,_get_one_free), BOGO, or BOGOF. One for Baskin Robbins (http://www.baskinrobbins.com) and the other for Jamba Juice (http://www.jambajuice.com). Enjoy them while you can, as they expire with the Northwest summer. (click on pictures below for coupons) As usual, a big thanks to the live viewers on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) and those in the chatroom. You guys are hardcore superfans, every stinking one of you (and some of you stink more than others). And some of the superfans have already showed their love by getting MitchCast merchandise at the CafePress (http://www.cafepress.com/imitch.466498838)store. Check it out, more to come. Of course we can't leave out super duper marketing moguls from Mobile Marketing, LLC (http://mobilemarketingllc.com/). They played an integral part in putting together many local contributors to this very cool event. Our hats are off to Kalvin and Lenny! (PS- Where's the bottle of pinot noir? I just got a very unpleasant email!) The MitchCast 125 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/photo-300x216.jpg)Back again, 144 cans strong, to bring you more of what you demand: slightly humorous comedy! Sean, The Cast, explains how he goes about emptying diet cola cans (sorry Coke (http://www.thezeromovement.org/), no product placement for you) and I follow on with how I recycle them. It's riveting, and at times borders on mildly interesting. Then I bring up the all important issue, how to dissuade my daughters from American Girl (http://www.americangirl.com/index.php) dolls and evade their demands for an allowance. The Cast, in his infinite wisdom, shares his successes in this department, which has included a coffee can of change, gold stars, and a trip to the bus depot! Not to worry frugal listener, Captain Coupon comes through with another Deal of the Week. This time he delivers us from the high prices of iPhone cases. Simply visit HandHelditems.com (http://www.handhelditems.com/) and discover the savings. That's right, up to 90% off select Apple iPhone cases. Then, at checkout, use the code "20iphonecs" and get an extra 20% off. That's like 110% savings. (Not really, but fuzzy math aside, these are great deals!) This episode is also the last one before we cater for The Adam Carolla Show (http://www.adamcarolla.com), which plays at the Aladdin Theater (http://www.aladdin-theater.com/) here in Portland. You'll want to tune in next week for sure as we regale you of tales of catching a sideways glimpse of Donny from afar and almost hearing Adam's voice from the parking lot. It will be spectacular! And finally speaking of celebrities, let's not forget this gem of a tweet from the one and only Michael K. Williams (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0931324/) of The Wire (http://www.hbo.com/the-wire/cast-and-crew/index.html), a.k.a. Omar Little (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omar_Little): And many thanks to Mobile Marketing, LLC, as they have been helpful in preparing for Adam's visit to Portland. The MitchCast 124 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Seans_David-225x300.jpg)Back from Rome, back in the saddle, and back to...Glee (http://www.fox.com/glee/)? Oh, for the love of--say it ain't so?! Well, thanks to some listener feedback we are briefly sidetracked with Glee talk. Don't blame me, blame j4runner! He brought this on us all, it's his fault. Grab your torch and pitchfork, down with j4runner! Ahem. As I was trying to say, this pleasant episode takes a look at Italy, tattoos, smoking, hookers, and piercings. But enough about my vacation. We also talk about the upcoming Adam Carolla (http://www.adamcarolla.com) show here in Portland (http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0F0044ECD9EB5EAA), and the planning we as caterers are putting into it. And for the penny pinchers out there, Captain Coupon continues the good fight this week with an offer from Yankee Candle (http://www.yankeecandle.com). The deal is $10 off (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/yankee_candle.png)your purchase of $25 or more. With fall on it's way now is a great time to get your candles ready. (Now if they only sold bath salts I'd be set.)(http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/yankee_candle-150x150.png) Speaking of fall, we get ready for our fall fashion preview with a lively discussion of clothing. Yes, capri pants, "shworts", flip flops and more. No one knows more about fashion than two guys with stained shirts and sandals. No one. Be sure to check out videos of the show over at Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast), or join us live on Sundays, 9:30 PM Pacific time to watch the mayhem as it happens. The MitchCast 123 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/IMG_0033-300x224.jpg)Apologies, apologies, apologies. I'm very sorry for not putting out an episode last week, despite my best intentions. I was out of the country getting some sunshine. If you will forgive me, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again... At least, not until next time. This episode marks the very first MitchCast Mobile Edition. That's right, we were able to come up with the technology to allow us out of the studio, and into the local McDonald's and beyond. Of course, our lively discussion begins around the failures of the franchise and then branches out to the entire fast food kingdom. Then, in a strange twist, I come clean with two confessions. First, I'm a jerk, and I tell you why. Second, I'm a little gay. Or, gayish. Perhaps gayesque?? Nonetheless, my closet is cleaner after this discussion. Then, we dive into the most recent change in my life: Glee (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBwQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fox.com%2Fglee%2F&ei=4DJ0TOnFOIamsQO5kIywDw&usg=AFQjCNG-yBGv5FlzJRlf6gPCID-b4whrsg). Yes, I've discovered a little glee in my life and the merits of the television series as well. We not only beat this horse to death, but we bury and resurrect the thing. You won't want to miss out. Seriously. It's Glee. With that, expect the normal schedule of events to proceed this Sunday on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast). The MitchCast 122 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/IMG_0009-300x224.jpg)With Shark Week (http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/shark-week/) finally over, we can all return to our normal routines. For us, that means putting out another quality episode. And from what I hear, we even beat out And Man Created Dog in our live Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) of the show last Sunday (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/8817007). Impressive, we know. Though data indicates results may have a margin of error somewhere around 97%, but that's just numbers! This episode starts off with a frank discussion of my plans to leave the compan--uh, country. Yeah, that's what it was :-) In fact, you'll be reading this and listening to the episode while I'm somewhere over the Atlantic. The power of the interwebs. But I digress (shocking, I know). Where was I? Ah, yes, my future plans for departure and the correct way to leave a company. But who cares about that?? I certainly don't. The main attraction this week is around diet sodas and Sean's solid number two. Very riveting stuff. Which...leads into the real BIG announcement. You'll have to listen to find out more, but let's just say it involves our good friends over at The Adam Carolla Show (http://www.adamcarolla.com/ACPBlog/). 'Nuff said. With the BIG announcement we also issue the call to you dear listener for some real input. A way to make a difference. To let your voice be heard. We've teamed up once again with our friends over at Mobile Marketing (http://mobilemarketingllc.com/) and together we can all make a difference. Or not. It's a crap shoot really. (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/CostPlus-150x150.png)And let's not forget Captain Coupon's deal of the week (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/CostPlus.png). He pulls through as usual so many thanks to him and his minions. And that's about it for now. Until next week! | 8/10/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 121 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/IMG_0031-300x224.jpg)Chock full o' nuts and bursting at the seams, this week's episode has something for everyone!! Well, not really. It just sounded like a catchy way to start off. In fact, my mother's visit tops off the discussion as it has put a slight cramp in my style so to speak. Not to worry Mom, I love you and as long as you stay on the right side of the law, you're okay with me. And Officer Mannequin. Love or hate the cops, you're certain to be thankful for Captain Coupon and his Deal of the Week (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/image001.png)! That's correct, this week he fights high prices by bringing us the "2 FOR $5" deal at Cold Stone Creamery (http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/). With this coupon you can enjoy two Like It™ size ice creams for $5 (ice cream + one mix-in). Simply click, print, and enjoy, courtesy of Captain Coupon!(http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/image001-150x150.png) With my recent confession of my fear of dying alone, Sean and I delve into some of the common phobias and how we fare. Let's just say that while not afraid of heights, we both have some very profound and deep respect for them! And I'll leave it at that. This week we also successfully streamed live on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast). Thanks to everyone who tuned in and contributed. Visit Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast)to check us out live most Sunday nights at 9:30 Pacific or catch up on previous episodes. You'll get to see The Cast and I sweat off about 4 pounds during the 90 minutes or so of heatlamp induced stroke. It's fun for the whole family. Take care and tell a friend about the show. And then write that friendship off ;-) | 8/3/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 120 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/IMG_5614-225x300.jpg)Special guest this week? You, lucky listener! That's right, we streamed live on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast)--again. Thanks to all the listeners who showed up in the chat room. We had a good time and we'll only get better! ('Cause hey, it couldn't get any worse. Am I right??) For those who missed it, and there were many, this week's episode starts off with what I'm calling a "TSA PSA", in honor of my wife and kids leaving for Italy. What does this mean for you? Why a chance to test your knowledge of prohibited items aboard your next flight (http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm). This of course turns into a conversation about how I would take over a plane with No. 2 pencils, CO2 cartridges, and 7 inch screwdrivers. Look for me on the "no fly" list! Sean then catches us up on the San Diego Comic Con (http://www.comic-con.org/). Don't worry though, we keep it light and your ears shouldn't glaze up. In fact, you can help us raise the money necessary to send The MitchCast there next year, as we announce the first ever MitchCast Telethon! We're just $214 shy of our goal of $214. And for just $214 you can get an official MitchCast coffee mug, not available anywhere else. We wrap this baby up with an 80's movie run down, thanks to my recent viewing of "Sixteen Candles" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088128/). John Hughes, you will be missed. And that's all she wrote. The MitchCast 119 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/IMG_0012-225x300.jpg)Special guest Matt Hatch of Theoryland (http://www.theoryland.com/) joins us to discuss one of his passions: The Wheel of Time. If you've not heard of the epic fantasy series, then hopefully this will wet your whistle just enough to learn a little more. I'm told, if you like Tolkien, then this is for you. If anything, you can at least get a glimpse into the mind of the man behind a successful website built the old fashioned way: lots of time and energy. Fear not my geek-averse friends, there is still other subjects to be had! Indeed, we regale you with our journey to the cinema to see "Inception (http://inceptionmovie.warnerbros.com/)", Christopher Nolan (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0634240/)'s latest screen gem. Spoiler-ish alert, but not quite. Once you see the film you realize that there's no real spoilers, only excellent discussion to follow. Then maybe an additional trip to the cinema. And perhaps a bump... Also new this week, we streamed live on Ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-mitchcast) and you can watch the podcast here (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/8374030)! Yes, it took a little more effort, but you my good listener, are worth it, every inch of extra cable. (Well, at least lovely.) That's right, when he's not busy performing at Curious Comedy (http://www.curiouscomedy.org/), or doing stand-up as Sasquatch for 30 Hour Day (http://30hourday.org/), or making cheese in his bathtub, or raising funds for A Bawdy Tale (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/230337900/a-bawdy-tale?pos=1), or taking pictures of his cat, he's thinking of reasons not to be on The MitchCast. Fortunately for us, he didn't think hard enough! Tune in to this very special episode to learn more about Scott and the art of funny. And, as an added bonus, Scott also treats us to his recipe for the perfect baked egg. But you'll need some ramikens if you plan to try this at home. And if you don't know what a ramiken is, you'll need to get a job at Chili's (http://www.chilis.com). And if you don't know what Chili's is, shame on you!! The MitchCast 117 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/usps_torn-300x225.jpg)For the first time in my life I get a sincere apology from the United States Postal Service (http://www.usps.com/). Sure, it's printed on the outside of a plastic bag containing the remnants of what was once a piece of mail, but still, I'll take it! I'm just glad they chose a Performance Bike (http://www.performancebike.com/) mailer to practice skeet shooting with and not my "gentlemen's monthly". As some of you may already know, the birth of our nation also coincides with the birth of my wife. (At least the day and month part.) The only thing I hate more than my own birthday is other people's birthdays, and I tell you why in this episode, as I sing the gift buying blues. (Sorry honey!) The MitchCast 116 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/IMG_5571-300x225.jpg)Merry-go-rounds are becoming a rarity nowadays (along with diving boards). So while mom was out of town running her half marathon (http://seattle.competitor.com/), I manage to take the kids to a few parks with merry-go-rounds and prove within minutes why I shouldn't be allowed to parent! But I blame the lack of merry-go-rounds in our society for the lifelong damage I have done to two of the kids. And, continuing my rant, I make my way to the public pool with my issues. I say, where have all the diving boards gone?!? How as a country can we expect to produce another Greg Louganis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Louganis) if the biggest thing to dive off of is the edge?? Oh, and NO DIVING off the edge! Crimony people, thanks for screwing up my kids worse than I can. Not so fast. We don't want to leave our discussion short without talking about parenting and the Helicopters versus the laissez-fairers. How many more Abby Sunderlands (http://www.abbysunderland.com/) do we need before we step up and start to call some people out?! And finally, listen in to see how you can win a pair of tickets to see the Portland Timbers (http://www.portlandtimbers.com/home/)! The MitchCast 114 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/IMG_0011-300x225.jpg)When the forces of evil and high prices combine against the world... When premiums run rampant in the marketplace... And when your wallet cannot get any lighter... One hero stands alone: CAPTAIN COUPON! Battling Dr. Discount and his wunderkind Promo-Boy, the Captain continues to bring you the best deals around for free. And we've got the exclusive right here on The MitchCast. Of course, handling a hero of this caliber cannot be done by The Cast and I alone, so we've brought in Jed the Intern/Intern Jed, or "Jan" as I like to call him, to help out. If you like saving money, and want to hear me spin some wonderful yarns about buying stuff, along with bad credit advice, then this is the episode you've been waiting for. But, do not despair regular listener, we also make our usual trip to the Movie Stub Vault, along with plenty of witty banter that my wife refers to as "loud". The MitchCast 113 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/IMG_5405-300x300.jpg)This week, on a very special MitchCast, I talk about a very serious and personal issue: caffeine addiction. Tune in and find out how it nearly cost me several hundred dollars and many sleepless nights. I also reveal how I've managed to channel that energy into a new addiction: J&D's Bacon Salt (http://www.jdfoods.net/products/baconsalt.php)! And if that don't do it for ya, me and The Cast talk about the real issues you want to know about: nacho cheese, Baconnaise, Tobasco sauce, World Cup Soccer, and of course, Keira Knightley. Plus, another trip to the Movie Stub Vault! And finally, we do discuss the merits of kids and crusts which can only lead to one thing: I'm running for President in 2012. The MitchCast 112 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/IMG_5490-225x300.jpg)Voted "Best Podcast with the 'Cops Effect'" episode 112 only solidifies our place in podcasting history. Worried that your date nights with your significant other are humdrum or lackluster? Look no further. We deliver in spades! Then, for the guys and a few select ladies, I take the time to tell you why ice hockey is actually the best sport. This deteriorates of course into steroids, leg waxing, and finally hair cuts. (WARNING: do not attempt all three at once!) Also this week we finally take a trip to the famous movie stub vault only to discover how little we both know about movies, or perhaps how flagrant I once was in my movie viewing habits. In either case you're sure to learn something! Don't get too worried though, as Sean a.k.a. The Cast finally comes to terms with his inner love for Glee. Tune in. Find out. The MitchCast 111 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/IMG_5456-225x300.jpg)This week, on another exciting episode of The MitchCast, we get called out for our usage of the word "ironic" thanks to listener Cathy. (She's the black fly in our Chardonnay, so to speak.) We mange to press on anyway and you get to hear about my first sushi experience, which surprisingly turns into a discussion about...food! Not to worry though, there's something here for the sports fan, as I tell you why baseball is truly the great American pastime and at the same time is going to pot. (Not in the Willie Wilson sense of the word either!) Unfortunately for my son, he may never get to play unless I get some answers on the uniforms. No discussion would be complete without a new plan proposed by Sean a.k.a. The Cast. This week he reveals how the business of child acting is nothing more than a modern day coalmine that is destroying everyone's lives. It's a dirty business, but there are solutions. Of course there's more, but you'll have to listen for yourself. Then, take the time to tell a few friends, or just go punch someone. You know you want to. | 5/26/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 110 – Part 2 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/IMG_1700-225x300.jpg)And now for part two, which picks up where part one left off. Which seems very obvious now that I write it. In this half Sean a.k.a. The Cast proposes his new naturalization plan: work for stay. Counter to his plan, I propose a new border security plan called: you will be shot. Can the two exist in harmony? Following this lively discussion, we talk about my newest movie "Redneck Patrol" as well as a brief review of the KFC Double Down sandwich and its shortcomings. Somewhere along the way Sean a.k.a. The Cast recounts his own personal struggle to naturalize and the difficulties he and his family suffered in order to come to America to buy a home in a middle-class neighborhood. The MitchCast 110 – Part 1 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/IMG_5326-300x225.jpg)I'm sorry. No, not for the double shot episode again (although I may be apologizing for that later). I'm sorry that I've overlooked your feedback, which you have been sending, and I just recently discovered. Yes, all that hard work pimping the email address WAS paying off. It's just that yours truly couldn't pull his monitor out of his backside cache, so to speak. The situation therefore means we actually cover some all important feedback. Then, I share some feedback I've been giving the fine folks at my place of employment. Add to that a short discussion of our Ironman 2 experience and you've got yourself the makin's of part one. Episode 110 Part 2, coming to a screen near you. Or iPod. Or iPhone. Or cruddy knock-off that still plays mp3s. | 5/19/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 109 – Part 2 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Screen-shot-2010-05-10-at-11.20.41-PM-300x203.png)As promised, part deux of episode 109 is out for your enjoyment. Here in the second half we start off with some Show-and-Tell. (Technically it's all just tell, and for the show, but you get it you smart listener you!) Sean shares the perfect Mother's Day gift and it involves dynamic inertia. Intrigued? Then, in a riveting moment I come forward to confess my addiction. As it turns out, Sean also confesses his, and we commiserate the trials and tribulation of food. And as an added bonus, I tell you why I don't do drive-thrus! Thanks again, and keep the feedback coming. We do the show because we love you. (And it's a great excuse to get together Sunday nights!) [podpress] | 5/11/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 109 – Part 1 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/IMG_5400-300x225.jpg)Two words: Smothered B.A. Know what that is? Know where to get one? Well, like a Smothered B.A. this episode is jam packed. In fact, we had to split it into two parts. That's right, two heaping servings of the MitchCast just for you. That, and our engineer couldn't figure out how to get this much audio into one omelet. In part one you will be treated to Sean's vision of what first class could be. Airlines take note, because this will revolutionize the industry. Or at least that's what two coach passengers from Oregon think. Add to that a discussion about airport security theater, and top it off with a formal apology to John Woo, and you've got the makings of the first half. But, do not turn that dial just yet, as part two will come along shortly! | 5/11/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 108 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/IMG_4126-300x225.jpg)This week, on a very special MitchCast, we are joined by Guy, the cooking- uh, er...guy? We take the time to ask the important questions like "how long can that pizza sit out on the counter?" and "what does a fry cook do?" Certainly you won't want to miss this all inclusive cooking special including how Red Robin attempted to kill Sean by bottomless fries. Oh yes, you heard it here first. Also, of equal value and perhaps greater importance, another very special musical number, sure to move you to tears... and probably in the worst way(around 56:50). But wait, there's more. We dare to pack in the usual discussion around meaningless and useless topics, all so you can sit back and wonder, "why do I subscribe to this thing again?!" The MitchCast 107 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/IMG_5278-225x300.jpg) Ever worked around someone who smells like they may have pooped their pants? Well, have I got a story for you. But don't worry, that's not all we talk about. Sean and I also take the time to discuss my current job situation, and my search for my "authentic job". Conclusion? I'm running for mayor of West Linn!! Of course, I just missed the deadline for submitting an application, but who cares. I'm the man for the job! I'm a good liar, I have a college degree, and dangit, people like me! Thanks as always for tuning and and please, feel free to sound off about your own stories, ideas, and thoughts. | 4/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 106 | (http://themitchcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/IMG_0001-225x300.jpg) This week's episode is for the geek in all of you. Yes, we did attend the Thursday evening showing of Kick-Ass, and yes yes, we talk about it. You don't like movie reviews? Don't worry, we put that off til the second hour. So you can en joy the first half of pure filler. What's that, you say? Why a brief overview of my new hit series, "Amateur Court". That and the importance of executive indecision and how Sean's wife pays the cable bill! But don't worry, you will like the review of Mark Strong's chrome dome, along with the extended review of the extended MacGruber trailer. And we finally ask the question: what the hell is a hectare? As always, thanks for tuning in. | 4/20/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 105 | Truly a momentous occasion, as we have a podcast that doesn't talk about the iPad. Truly, it only comes up maybe once. Instead, you're in for a real treat. There's the regular drivel about feedback, Redbox, and bus stations. But more importantly, this week we take the time to cover the subjects you care most about. These include: nicknames, MacGruber, Tiger Woods, sex addiction, value menus, and most of all, tipping! (I think we throw in some Dancing With the Stars for good measure as well.) Enjoy the podcast, watch the sweat pants, and don't forget to tip your hosts! The MitchCast 104 | Well, as one iTunes user said, "This is better than CATS!" I couldn't agree more. This episode really packs it all in there. Licking your mom's roll-on deodorant? Check. Tyler Perry RedBox rentals? Check. BeastMaster? Check. Clash of the Titans wardrobe review? Check. Tons more of the funny stuff? Check, check, and double check. Too much, you say? Free, you ask? You can't put a price on good comedy, nor can you actually sell the stuff I'm making. And whether it qualifies as good comedy is the only joke there is. So enjoy, and tell a few co-workers. If anything, it'll keep them occupied for an hour and you can get back to updating your FaceBook status and watching treadmill music videos. | 4/6/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast 103 | Can somebody please tell me why on earth Taco Bell decided the Pacific Shrimp Taco was a good idea? Really. Because it has become the wedge between me and the Beef Baja Chalupa. Hear more about it in this episode of The MitchCast. Sean joins me once again as we discuss the present and future of television, diaper blowouts, sidekicks, Clash of the Titans, and of course, peanut butter. Oh no we didn't? Oh yes we did! Be the first to leave feedback on iTunes and be entered for a chance to be considered for a prize! The MitchCast 102 | Back again, with another exciting episode of The MitchCast. Sean joins me again in the studio and as they say, "comedy ensues". We dare to tackle the hard subjects like Toyota's SUA, driver licensing, finger nails, Sandra Bullock, and the all important Double Gulp™. Of course, if you're man enough to handle it, I even bring out the big gun. As always, feel free to drop me a line at 503.342.2762 or send your comments to feedback[at]themitchcast[dot]com. Back at it…again! | It's that time again, where I decide that I want to be a podcaster. Yes, I've done this before. No, I don't have a good track record. So what, right?! In this fine quality episode, I'm joined in the studio by my very good friends, Sean and Lant. We discuss baby names, vasectomies, corporate compensation, and movies. All sprinkled with wonderful banter and social commentary. It's like The View, if The View didn't suck and was on the radio, and had male hosts. (Actually, I've never seen The View, so I'm just making a joke based on what I've heard, because that's how I roll!) What more? Well, soon the feed will be in iTunes, along with the original Season 1 episodes of The MitchCast. Have something to add? MitchCast Episode 10: Where was I…? | Oh no, not this again. Well, I decided it was time to get it back together. If you're thinking about skipping an episode, this might be the one :-) If you're interested in my 100 mile bike ride and what I'm reading, watching, and thinking, then tune in. Be forewarned however, that the content you are about to listen to is boring. In fact, I had to go and edit out a bunch of yawning because I was boring myself. So, I guess I've determined that I lead a very boring life. That's okay. Join me and you'll see how exciting your own life is! | 10/9/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

MitchCast Episode 9: Ohhh no we didn't? | Yes, we've done it! We've successfully implemented the specially designed fartiphones, for your listening pleasure. Oh folks, it has gotten bad. Really, I mean this is just going south in a hurry. So, if you like fart jokes and the 1980's, you're sure to fall in love with Episode 9. PS-This episode was originally scheduled to be out last week, but due to inclement studio "conditions" I had to wait another week. More next time! | 8/20/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

Yes, you're in for a treat as we attempt to get to the topic at hand: corporate America. That said, we spend some time reminiscing about the great 80's. So if you're thirty-something, this episode is finally for you. Thanks for tuning in! | 8/6/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

MitchCast Episode 7: Wha happen?? | Yes yes yes. I know. I've heard it all before and seen a good share of it. Well, I am back. The bigger question is what happened to Jeremy?! He comes on the show, eats 27 cookies, barfs, and then I've never heard back from him again! I finally had to press on with the show. This week I've invited a "mystery" guest on which proves to be...interesting. Take a gander, this episode is less than a half hour long and shouldn't kill ya. | 7/31/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

MitchCast Special Edition: KidsCast | This special edition of the MitchCast was produced for Grandma and Grandpa. Anyone else can feel free to tune in and listen to the grandkids. MitchCast Episode 5: Still here! | Jeremy returns after his cross country trip with Dr. Dan and we discuss retirement savings. Yes, too exciting. Also in the show are some bathroom etiquette tips as well as our top 5 albums. You won't want to miss this episode because it is the longest one yet and begs the question: when is enough, enough?!? (We even managed to bore the software to death on this one. It quit recording at 1:06!!) Just remember what your mother told you, "little bites". | 7/9/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

MitchCast Episode 4: Flying Solo Again | Join me as I express my views on society's obsession with money, brought about by the recent illness of my cat. MitchCast Episode 3: Father’s Day Special | Jeremy has joined me again this week along with Ryan B. (whose last name rhymes with Bush) to talk about our fathers and what it's like being a father. This episode is a little more serious and once again, we do go beyond the hour mark. I'm warning you up front! There were some who felt it was a little long, and we really are trying to get the show to less than an hour. For what it's worth, you could listen to 20 minutes a day and be done by Saturday!! MitchCast Episode 2: Back with a vengeance | So another week has gone by already. My plans for this and that keep getting put off. Remember, at some point, the MitchCast will reside at mitchellmilliron.com and the family blog (which is suffering right now) will remain here. And if we're are real lucky, I'll have an added bonus by next week!! Okay, this is the second episode and I have invited long time friend Jeremy Parsons to join me as I start to find out what the podcast is really about. Please feel free to post comments here or send feedback to: feedback@millironfamily.com. I love you fans, keep tuning in! Until next time, enjoy. | 6/11/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

The MitchCast is Launched!! | That's right. I've been away from the blog for a while. Now I'm back, with a podcast! Will it work? I don't know. My intent is to separate them out into 2 separate things, but for now, I'm using the MillironFamily.com to provide me the feed. If you don't know what a podcast is, then I apologize. I'm not going to explain it. Go to google and type in podcast, or better, visit Wikipedia. If you don't know what google or Wikipedia is, then please leave. No, really. You've been cut off. On that note, here is the inaugural episode of the MitchCast: Life as a Thirty-something! | 6/4/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

What the %$#@! is The MitchCast?
A potpourri of Pop Culture references with Generation X sensibilities. If you want to hear two guys discuss the merits of movies, TV and life in 2010 then this is the podcast for you!
Each week I get to hear two guys discuss their fervently held beliefs about how to make a correct peanut butter and jelly sandwich and how the 2010 version of Clash of the Titans compared to the 1981 version.
I laugh, I cry, and best of all IT IS FREE!
