| 1 | VideoNew Project: Mad Science with Princess Scientist | Some may remember me posting my letter to my daughter where i posted this awesome picture of her, but I didn't say the context of the picture. We're starting a monthly video podcast for kids, called Mad Science with Princess Scientist! We're having fun with it, even with various green screen hiccups, dogs barking, and the like. Still, our premier episode guest stars the utterly awesome Grant Baciocco of The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd and Throwing Toasters. Since Grant lives in California, he obviously won't be a regular, but we were thrilled to be able to film with him.We had various glitches, but overall this was a lot of fun. We're filming Episode 2 this weekend, and it will be a SPACE episode, and will also have a guest star. (Guest stars won't be a regular thing, but when we have the chance, we will grab it!)Theme song by Devo Spice, logo by JC Hutchins. | 5/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ISBW #247 – Peter V. Brett Interview / Unrequited Love | Brought to you by Picking Up the Ghost by Tone Milazzo!Pick up the ebook for only $2.99 until May 8th!This week I run part 1 of the Peter V. Brett interview from World Fantasy Con, and talk about how to handle unrequited love. (In a story, I mean; I can't help you handle it in real life.) Living in St. Jude, a 110-year-old dying city on the edge of the Mississippi, is tough. But when a letter informs fourteen-year-old Cinque of the passing of the father he never met, he is faced with an incomplete past and an uncertain future. A curse meant for his father condemns Cinque to a slow death even as it opens his eyes to the strange other world around him. With help from the ghost, an enigmatic White Woman, a Loa, and a devious shape-shifter, Cinque gathers the tools to confront the ghost of his dead father. But sometimes too much knowledge can be dangerous - and the people he trusts most are those poised to betray him. | 5/16/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

I've been listeing to Mur since GeekFu Action Grip, and have always loved her fiction and her essays. I love listeing to everything she puts out, some more then others but I am listing to everything. I own a copy of Playing for Keeps and would love to own a copy of Heaven when some publisher finally comes to their senses and prints it for us. Thank you Mur but I should go now, because I should be writing.
