Podcast Description

The official podcast of The Young Australian Skeptics. Do you have a friend that says something you think is probably not true? Are you sick of young people being taken advantage of and dumbed down? Do you know something is credulous but can't put a finger on it? Do you wish the astrology section in the news paper was replaced by an astronomy section? Do you cringe every time your friend rattles on about their soul and an untapped psychic energy? Then this podcast is for you.

A very entertaining podcast, which should become better as more are produced

I've listened to both episodes and so far the hosts have produced an informative, entertaining, and amusing podcast. The "On the Street," section, in which the hosts question various strangers about their beliefs, is a great original addition to the skeptical podcast collection. If I were to criticize TPS, I would say they tend to focus only on negative news. For example, they spoke for several minutes about the Kansas Dover Trials in ep. 2, giving the idea that all Americans are so strongly religious, yet no mention is given to the outcome of the trial, or the response of the American skeptical community. This small criticism aside, one will not be disappointed with this podcast. The hosts are genuinely funny, well educated, and insightful. I can especially recommend it for the “On the Street” section of the show.

Very, very entertaining!

A professional sounding, informative, entertaining podcast. It is surprisingly good for being so new, with only a few episodes. The only complaint I can think of is a quieter than normal sound quality, but that isnt too much of an issue! Topics are wonderful, and it is great to hear what the rest of the world thinks of us in America for a change. Keep up the good work!

Very Entertaining.

This podcast is so much fun to listen. They have great segments like interviewing random people on the street about issues. Its also refreashing to hear a younger people get involved in skepticism.
