Love it!!
After NPR dropped News and Notes, I was very sad and began looking for another show that I could go to for another perspective. The Root has it all and more. Thanks Slate Magazine, I can rejoice!
The AfroCentric Gabfest
Slate Gabfest fans who also have an interest in the black perspective will find the Confab conversation to be a similarly stimulating weekly. The panel is well-rounded (based on the one conversation they've submitted), witty, and comfortable in their roles. Their banter is intelligent, and the topics they chose in this episode were timely and they handled them with insight and humor. I've added it, and I'm very optimistic that it will be a keeper.
I love it!!!
This is 1 of the all time greatest podcasts... My only complaint is that they don't do more of them.... I mean daily basis is my vote...
