Lectures on topical science issues brought to you by the Royal Society

Customer Reviews

Adventures in Brit Academia

The British Royal Society lectures on science, history, and the history of science and includes revealing historical material on the Society itself. This is appropriate since it played a key part in world scientific history since 1660. The lectures can be a little uneven depending on the lecturer's speaking ability and topic. But overall this is quality brain food offered by solid, even gifted academics. The lectures are a little briefer than on average than other lecture podcasts and not too intellectually lofty. Good stuff!

Worth the 8 month wait!

Hurrah!

This podcast is back after a lengthy hiatus (re-painting Issac Newton's desk or something- don't ask . . .). The Royal Society is again providing the world with its informative lecture series. Thanks, all the staff who produce the series, for all you do.
