Simply Put: Beautiful, Heart-warming, and Entertaining
What more do you want from a podcast?
Reggie and Dana are more than an adorable couple with a penchant for The Bard. They're the proverbial quantity that is much greater than the sum of its' parts. This project is remarkable, and they are perfect for it.
I hope - for the sake of all who might come along and discover this excellent, smart effort - that this podcast continues and grows and takes up hundreds of episodes over many years to come. There surely is enough subject material. But more importantly, students can only benefit from such impactful expressions of such timeless and valuable works.
Furthermore, the bloopers at the end are hysterical.
A feast for the ears!
Hallelujah! Fantastic podcast! I was hooked moments into the first show, and crave more. This is where the real bread and butter of Shakespeare is found- in the sound of his words. And this show gives it to us beautifully. I love the three readings... each one building on the last... A must for audience and performer alike. A real pleasure. In the words of Shakespeare:
"I can no other answer make but thanks, and thanks!"
A beautiful look at how the language becomes real
Reggie and Dana take a quick run through a chosen sonnet with a flat reading, accented, and full-on stage reading.
Beautiful to hear, and really helped me understand why some productions leave me cold, and others seem to leap from the stage into my brain.
Thanks for this, and please let it never stop.
