Podcast Description
Rising out of the dark ages of nu-metal, The SIDESHOW led the charge for the New Wave of heavy music at 98.1 WQAQ, initiating a loud rock revival at the prestigious, student-run radio station. What Brian began in 2002 would grow into something bigger than he ever imagined. Garnering critical acclaim with the addition of Nick in 2003, The SIDESHOW would evolve and continue even after its creators graduated. Brian and Nick passed the torch to the ROCK(jock), who further revolutionized the program by bringing it to a worldwide audience. Collectively, The SIDESHOW won two Show of the Year awards and marched on to become the longest running show in WQAQ history. Now, after a two-and-a-half year hiatus, The SIDESHOW rises again…

Great!
Fun, informative, and pretty intelligent metal discussion! I really liked the first show and can't wait to see where they go from there. If you read metal blogs all the time, definitely give this a try. \m/
Can't wait for episode two.
Love the first episode. Great commentary and discussion. The origin stories were awesome, and I can't wait to hear more of Brian's extreme categorization.
Lots of Fun!
I really enjoyed episode one - the guys have great chemistry and bring a lot of knowledge into their reviews and discussions. And their differing opinions definitely make it interesting! I recommend this to any metal fan who likes to keep up with news and reviews of the latest releases from the metal community. Good stuff! \m/
