However, the front vice has been sitting too low since this top is thicker than my previous one. So, it's been difficult to clamp workpieces. In this episode I remove material from the torsion box in order to recess the vice so that the top is level with the table top. | 27 | VideoSMD11 - Bow-Front Table - Creating the Bending Form | In this episode I create the bending form that is used to make the bow front (curved) apron. This form is made from six pieces of MDF screwed together and flushed to each other. The front curve is traced from the original curve made in the last episode. After the first piece is made from that curve, the other pieces are roughed out, attached and flushed (with router) to the piece below.
