Stellar on all levels

Mark and Jeff bring great insight and humor each week as they delve into hot topics of pop culture and art and the people who are making an impact in it. I listen to a dozen or so podcasts each week, this one is the one I look most forward to. Around my house it's held in such regard that it's just known as "The podcast."

Subscribe... and all your dreams will come true!

Do you like movies? Me too. Do you like music? Silly question. I know. Do you like TV shows? Who doesn't, right? Do you like laughing so hard milk comes out of your nose and your stomach starts to cramp up? Me neither.

Do you like listening to podcasts that are artistically created, consistently excellent, and simultaneously hilarious and thought-provoking? Regardless of your answers to the first four questions, if you answered "HECK YEAH!" to the final question, have I got a show for you?!

The Steelehouse Podcast is my favorite and most highly anticipated podcast each week (and I subscribe to like 25 different podcasts - NO LIE!). Mark and Jeff have become an important part of my weekly routine (and not in a creepy/stalkery way - more of a kindred spirit type deal). I look forward to hearing their perspectives on all sorts of pop-culture related items and events. From their takes on the films of Will Ferrell or the music of Coldplay, to their break-downs of the most recent episodes of Survivor or American Idol, to their legendary Get “Lost" segments which brilliantly dissect the themes, characters, and memorable moments of the landmark ABC series to their almost obsessive/man-crush love of everything U2, Mark and Jeff do not hold back their honest thoughts and emotions while honoring, accepting, and almost inviting dissenting opinions thereby furthering the ongoing dialogue of how our story is intricately woven together with God’s.

Over the years, the guys (along with their cast of regular and semi-regular contributors like Laura MacKorkle, Gayla Gower, Dav Steele, Stephen McGarvey, and the mad-genius Cory Edwards) have introduced listeners to a multitude of films, TV shows, music, literature and other artistic endeavors. And because they have worked tirelessly to nurture an online community through their Facebook page, listeners like yours truly have been able to share some of our own favorites and have even put a few things on their collective R.A.D.A.R.s as well.

As more and more mediocre podcasts flood the iTunes landscape, the Steelehouse Podcast stands out as a most entertaining, informative, and spiritually/personally challenging weekly production. In fact, it's not only my favorite podcast, it has quite honestly changed the way I view myself and the impact I can have on the world around me.

OK, so if you subscribe to the Steelehouse Podcast, it might not make ALL of your dreams come true, but it MIGHT just help you better define what your dreams actually are and encourage you to pursue them with new meaning.

…or it might just make you laugh a whole bunch (but not so much milk will come out of your nose or you stomach starts to cramp up).

This is definitely the one podcast that I look forward to every week. I love all your recommendations and my wife loves to find new music with your Summer Party Playlists. Keep up the great work!!
