The Big Hurt: Hate & Anger

‘Anger in its time and place,’ wrote the essayist Charles Lamb, ‘May assume a kind of grace.’ We look at how anger can be clarifying, even helpful, and we find out how it can morph into its more dangerous and corrupting form, hate.

    The Great Escape

We all want to hit the eject button on reality and look for a different way to live our lives at one point or another. How about through transforming yourself into another species, meditating on your existence, or just laughing your ass off?

A Legacy

The Stuff of Life was HowStuffWorks's first attempt at an edited, produced, and non-continuous podcast, and it was great. The subjects discussed felt important, and Julie did very well presenting them. The miscarriage one really stood out to us. Ultimately, this show's legacy is filled by all of the content that came after it. If you like The Control Group, The End of the World, or TransGenesis, listen to The Stuff of Life to see where those originated here.

I tried it.

So, I heard of this show from another show. Decided to give it a try. Did not get past the 7 minute mark of the first episode (which turns out to be episode 1, season 2, Broken). This is not what I came here to listen. Now, I might try again with season 1, episode 1 and give a better review and hopefully, just hopefully, it won’t be about orange man bad. For the mean time, I’ll just enjoy inflation.
