The story might be shorter than the norm, but the excitement is still full-throttle as Superman takes on the very forces of nature itself in a story that bears strange similarities to one of the most well-known Superman stories of all time! Plus, things go to a whole new level between Superman and Lois, kicking off a historic relationship that will become the stuff of legend. And don't miss the "Meanwhile" portion of the show where Michael takes a look at the debut of a brand new character over in the pages of DETECTIVE COMICS and how the character's modern age legacy ultimately ties back to Superman. | 1/31/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Another Great Resource for Superman in the 30s and 40s!
Not only does Michael review all of the Golden Age adventures of Superman, but he also does his research to help the listener understand the possible influences of the creators. Overall, a well thought out and fun podcast!
Golden Age Superman is awesome
Michael makes a great show. This is a resource that takes you through the Golden Age adventures of the Man of Steel, adding both historical context and an understanding of how the stories work in the mythology of Superman. I always look forward to Michael's perspective on the issues after I read the books for my own Golden Age Superman podcast. Keep up the good work, sir.
