Quick Tips

What a concept -- a time management podcast that doesn't take a lot of time! The Time Management Minute offers very short tips on how to be more productive. Even if the day's tip is one you've heard before, they're helpful reminders to be more effective and less stressed. I'd have given this five stars if the intro/outro were streamlined. Gross spends more time explaining who she is and what she does than she does giving the tip. Obviously listening to the advertisement for her services is what we're paying in exchange for the free tips and that's fine -- they don't take a huge amount of time -- but if she could pare it just a bit, it'd be better. (And I wonder if she realizes how often she says "again," especially as she's wrapping up the episode. "Again, we are on TalkShoe ...," "... again, this is Deirdra Gross." The verbal tic reinforces that we've heard all this before and will hear it again tomorrow. Cut the "again"s and just give us your contact info!) But those are minor nitpicks. I do really appreciate the quick tips and would recommend this podcast to anyone looking to learn to manage their time better.

Needs better recording equipment

intro/ad sounds great, then her voice is much softer... muffled even....irritating.

Manage your time -- skip this podcast.

This seems like a great idea -- a frequently updated, brief podcast containing tips for time management. What is actually produced for download is in many cases just about 20 seconds of real content, padded by three times as much intro, outro, and advertising...all with terrible sound quality. Don't waste your time.
