Podcast Description
That's all we want to do is talk about random stuff. It could be games, it could be movies, actors, actresses, whatever. Think of it as a very very dirty variety show.

ExplicitEpisode 9–“A Brit gets a year older.” | We recorded this on Ian’s birthday, and we talk about various things like what we’ve played lately, me going off on Call of Duty : Black Ops (including some major spoilers near the end if you even care about the story) … and, well … the entire franchise in general. Among other stuff, I’ve written notes here as best I can, but I may have missed some things here and there. Bear in mind, that I am, for the time being, using a cheapie PS3 headset that came from Gamestop, so I sound a little muffled. But oh well, it could be worse. Right? And (where the Black Ops “story” spoilers are) at the end is the half-hour or so that actually recorded of an earlier attempt at this episode with Critical Failure of Tiger Claw TV/Radio. Xbox Live Indie Game – Vorpal 25 things you did not know about Zelda. Dino D Day coming to Steam Psycho Pinball Forget-Me-Not Devil’s Crush Pinball Pinball Ride Mini arcade and pinball DIY kits Destructoid’s review of Killzone 3 Gamespot’s review of Killzone 3 | 2/24/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 8 “Damn Australians” | Well, the show I had pre-recorded with RetroKaiser … somehow the file got corrupted. So I blame it on the fact he’s Australian. So we recorded again last night and here’s the result of the madness. A little bit of talk about Portal 2, some records he got in the mail, and other random s**t. About a half an hour or so in I decided to use one of the Skype things I’m paying for and call Justin. And totally messed up his kill/death ratio in Call of Duty Black Ops apparently. But that’s okay, because Battlefield’s better. | 1/19/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 7 – Fran Fine was fine. | I would've had an episode out much sooner, but ran into some catastrophic problems ... in the sense that Ian and I did a full out 3 hour recording ... but the file wasn't there after I stopped recording. And it would've made a GREAT show too, mostly because Ian's always awesome with his podcasting. So, this particular episode is with Critical Failure of Tiger Claw TV/Radio, Triverse from Scenic 7 PR and at the very end ... (which, will get saved back for the next episode) Retrokaiser. I'll get into his show later, but he's a fairly regular guest host on Tiger Claw Radio. :) | 12/31/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 6 – “Bob Saget” Part 2 | Here's the promised second half with a whole random thing where we just started digging around AtariAge looking at and commenting on the new games coming out for the Atari 2600. Yes, there ARE in fact new games coming out from time to time for this kickass little system. And to top it off, I get to ruin your childhood for the first 15 minutes or so of the show. If you wanna get ahold of the show, as usual, you can leave a comment right here. Or you can send an email to wastedsecondspodcast@gmail.com. If you want to leave a voicemail, you can call (618)984-5244, or if you want to get ahold of us through forums, just head on over to the forums over at GameGavel ... which also happens to be a good place to go for cheap gaming stuff. | 11/12/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 6 – “Bob Saget” Part 1 | Following up on the show entitled “Rocket Tits” I just had to name the show after one of my favorite actors, and we have a last minute special guest in the form of Chase Nunes from the web show Geek Gamer Weekly for the first half before he had to leave for work. In fact, the show was so f*****g long that I had to split it into two parts, so you’ll get part 2 here in a few days to a week. But after over a MONTH of nothing, it’s finally here. It’s just so hard to find time when the co host is in a completely different country. I know I say during the show that I’m going to be adding things to show notes, but the only things I can think of to add is this story about a chick who reaches a gamerscore of 200,000. And of course GameGavel’s Youtube channel showing off the first episode of Big Game Hunter, a show where SoCal Mike wears a pair of glasses with a video camera built in to the swap meets he goes to where he finds all these wicked deals on games. Part 2 will have the rest of what was recorded, including some of the stuff that got cut out … I’ve just gotta pretty it up with a little editing here and there. SOMEDAY we’ll get on an actual schedule, even if I have to start recording the damn thing by my lonesome. | 11/4/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 5 – “Rocket Tits” | It’s Ian and I again, this time talking about everything from Metroid to Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Quake, Doom, GOG.com (which is as of today a little out of date), DOS games, bullet hell shooters and other random tidbits. I’ve been sick for the last couple of weeks, and at the time of the recording, I was just STARTING to get over it … so I sound kinda strange a lethargic at times. But, it’s finally here. Maybe someday we’ll get a steady stream of people on here. I’ll be damned if I’m going to be the only one talking on here though. :) But, for your clicking pleasure, here are (in no particular order) some of the links we were referring to during the show. D-Fend Reloaded DOSBox front end ZDoom Ian’s review of Metroid : Other M on the Game Gavel/Retro Gaming Roundup forums As always, you can get ahold of us through various means either with email via wastedsecondspodcast@gmail.com, you can leave a voicemail at (618)984-5244 that may or may not get played on the podcast eventually. Or, of course, you can hop onto the aforementioned forums. I personally also hang out over at the forums for The Retro League Podcast from time to time. So either way, have at it. | 9/23/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 4 – A bunch of randomness. | It's hard to find recording time, usually when I''m free nobody else is. Go figure on that. BUT here is a late episode, downed by the fact that the damn Skype recorder I've got decided to record at 24k. ANYWAY, the guest host here is Ian Guebert from the Game Gavel forums (where you can usually find both of us). This one is kind of a weird one because I wasn't exactly on my "A Game" being pretty damn tired and frustrated. But we get to talking about eBay, the various Nintendo systems and games for them (he has a much different gaming history than I do because I was always more of a Sega guy) along with a live play of some f****d up flash game called "Up Down Ready" by him ... I was playing Ridge Racer 64 while we were recording and got to talking about that a little bit. Along with all the usual randomness and f****d up-ness that I've apparently come to be known for. With any luck the next episode will come much sooner but no promises. Up Down Ready Bizarre Namco Ridge Racer Controller #1 Bizarre Namco Ridge Racer Controller #2 And a lot of other randomness I don't have links for. Musical credits : Ozzy Osbourne - Let Me Hear You Scream Battletoads NES pause music Hilary Duff - Reach Out As usual, you can get ahold of us by emailing wastedsecondspodcast@gmail.com, you can leave a voicemail at (618) 984-5244 ... of course long distance charges may apply. And if you wanna get ahold of ME at least (and the co-host for this episode of course) I hang out in the forums over at Game Gavel where I'm posting this and that off and on throughout the day. And a little bit in the forums for The Retro League Podcast. | 9/7/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitThe Wasted Seconds Podcast Episode 3 – “Turn a 5 minute s**t into hours of fun!” | Josh and I shoot the siht about a little bit of everything. We go into S4 League, Halo Reach, Halo 2600, Space Swine, Call of Duty Black Ops, Activision, Frets on Fire and more. | 8/10/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 2.1.4 – “Justin? Are you there?” | This one is kind of a train wreck in quality ... for whatever reason while Justin sounded fine in Skype when I played it back for most of the show you can barely hear him. And since Josh is having financial troubles he "doesn't have his heart in it" to do the show, though he may be back eventually. We talk about a multitude of stuff ranging from Need for Speed (of which I was playing during some of the recording hehe), iPod games, gaming in general, and we found out that Justin actually kind of likes Left 4 Dead 2 and is going to get it eventually. It's a bit of a tough listen, but it gets a little better midway through. No musical credits this time because it's so f*****g late. :P | 7/25/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 2 – “You ignored me for THAT?” | Josh unfortunately couldn't make it this time due to a healthy dose of computer troubles (I personally blame the fact that he uses Windows Vista and actually thinks it's GOOD) ... but we got Justin back after a bit of a hiatus. We sit and talk about all kinds of s**t since there basically wasn't a format for anything. We both have been playing tons of iPod games (well, in his case mostly iPad ... but same difference in the end). So we go on a little bit about some of Gameloft's games as well as a kickass little tower defense game called Tweet Defense and that Shrek Kart game ... which he seems to think is better than Mario Kart but I beg to differ. But yeah, kind of a long show but I think it came out alright considering it went from a recording test to recording the actual show. And there's about an hour's worth of extra stuff down there that got cut from the show that isn't going to be in the iTunes feed. Musical Credits : Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood George Carlin - Religion is B******t Ray Stevens - Eric the Awful and some music from the SNES version of F-Zero | 7/11/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitThe Wasted Seconds Podcast Episode 0.5 – “The Obligatory E3 Show” | Unfortunately, Justin was having some technical issues ... so Josh gives a great rundown on what he thought was interesting at E3 with Microsoft and Sony with David merely commenting from time to time since he didn't follow any of it. Visit the site for a little outtake. :) The music is as follows : Nine Inch Nails - Heresy, the I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1NIT!!1 on Xbox Live and Excalibur from Rise of the Triad. | 6/22/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Everfescent Entertainment
For those looking for an educated discussion dissecting todays latest headlines in gaming, tearing apart actions of companies and hearing the opinion of the host then boy did you click on the wrong podcast. Although, for those of you that are looking for something off the wall, a show that the guests let their hair down, talk about just about everything under the sun, then you found the show for you.
