Lame show, AND he ripped off Leo Laporte to do it!
This show was really not fun to watch. Two of the hosts lacked personality and Jason has too much. I was already thinking "I'm over it", but then I heard Leo Laporte mention some frustration with Jason for running with his "This Week in" tech podcast network.
Frankly, this whole "This Week in" network Jason Calacanis is doing is really not fair to Leo Laporte and the others who have worked so hard. Jason has created a bunch of shows like this one, all of which are kind of lame. They all have the same format - a few low-personality guys around a table with very little agenda, in this case showing iPad apps.
I'm really appalled at how slimy he is being about this stuff. He said he was going to start a "directory of all the This Week In shows that anybody is doing" and then just starting his own "This Week In" tech podcast show network.
But of course that won't be confused with the _real_ "This Week In Tech" show network. Give me a break!
