Customer Reviews
Nice effort but come'on TIME!
I'm just echoing the sentiments that I see in a lot of the reviews posted. Considering that this podcast is put out by TIME magazine I was expecting a much MUCH better sound quality. Although I do commend the content--the interviews are interesting and insightful--the audio is so horrible that it's a chore to listen to. Get it together!!
Worth The Time
Just found this, my first listen was the episode with Susan Sarandon, and then Woody Allen. Even though the style and format are different, this reminds me of Fresh Air. I've since subscribed to it. Also, the answers are longer than sound bites, so the interviewee has the chance to develop an answer. Good podcast.
NOT worth the time...
You'd think that the entertainment giant TIME would put out an interesting, polished, professional product, right? Wrong! The interview questions are sophmoric and the production values are horrid - like the interviewer saying to an unknown person, "Hang on - I'm doing my interview thingie" in the middle of a podcast. You can hear what sounds like someone remodeling their home throughout - if you like the sound of intermittent hammering, you'll love this. This is an embarrasingly amateurish attempt - give it a miss.
