Save Time - Pick Up A Guide

I leave for Rome soon, but found little in Mark's info that could not be found in just a few minutes in any guide book summary page, or online. Spend a few bucks and save your time. I think he knows his stuff, but he needs to deliver more meat. If you must listen - Start with the "Where to Stay." Judging by the guide books, he gives good advice that folks like me may have trouble with. It's difficult to figure out where the best place to stay is. I have my reservation, but he tells us that this area is a great place to "hang out," or "there is "upscale shopping here" but it is "too far to walk." Don't be afraid to tell us names of hotels. Give us your picks of top Luxury, Mid, and Budget Hotels in the area you recomend? What did your family like to do? As Mark did with the Pizza place he tells us about. We want the insider info. How do we choose a tour guide? Should we hire a driver, and if so how do we find and choose them. What are good day trips out of Rome. Mark - give it up to us!

Fantastic, like having a friend talk about their trip

Jules does a great job sharing information about traveling in Italy. Listening to the podcast is like having a friend tell you about their recent trip. This is a great podcast. Thanks for doing it!

Just ok - not super informative, more like a chat about my vacation

Sorry, I wish I could love this, but I don't. I found this podcast rather unprofessional. More like chatting with friends about my vacation, but I forgot the hotel I stayed at, I forgot the name of the great restaurant I ate at. Lack of information and sometimes wrong information. I suggest Rick Steve's Italy podcast or Let's travel Radio which has a 'chatty' feel, but still informative.
