As per our debate at the end of the episode, on if the “Attack of the Graske” has ever been released, it hasn’t. From TARDIS.wikia: “Although the interactive nature of the story would be compatible with DVD/Blu-Ray controllers, as of 2011 no home video release of Attack of the Graske has occurred or been announced. This renders it one of only two David Tennant-era Doctor Who-related productions (the other being the non-canonical Tonight’s the Night skit) that has not, and likely will not, see official home video release.” | 1/9/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Side Trip 2 – Dr. Phil’s Big Finish Companion | As promised in Episode 53, here is Dr. Phil’s Big Finish Audio Companion. It’s a guide to some of the best Doctor Who audio plays that Big Finish has produced in the last decade. This is a piece that we had hoped to include in our first review of Big Audio episodes, but as Phil told us, the project “ballooned” as he began editing it and putting in the trailers to the referenced stories. We felt that it was too long to include in this week’s episode in it’s entirety, but agreed that it was too good to edit down. So, it debuts as our second Short Trip. To hear Dr. Phil’s own podcast – Doctor Who: Adventures in Time, Space, and Music, be sure to visit his website at http://adventuresintimespaceandmusic.phillipwserna.com/. This is the first of a THREE PART story arc, which continues in the season 2 finale 2.8 “Vengenance Of Morbius” and the season three premier, 3.1 “Orbis”. Episode 33 – The Episode Of Rassilon | Here it is, and back on time this week. Recorded from our new studio digs (or in other word’s Shaun and Keith’s place) is this week’s show. This time, we review The Five Doctors. Not much news going on this week, well of course with the exception of Keith moving in with Shaun, and now I only have a 2 minute commute as opposed to a 20 minute commute to record on Sunday. Can you tell how happy I am that Keith moved? Also, your feedback! * The Retraction Of Rassilon: Wanting to stem the flow of corrections early, we got into a bit of a quagmire over the name of Patrick Troughton’s son in this episode. Turns out he has 2, David Troughton is an actor who, among other credits played King Peladon in “The Curse Of Peladon” and his younger brother Michael Troughton is currently at work on a biography of his late father due out in November. | 8/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 22 – The Almost Podcast | We call this week’s episode, The Almost Podcast because some listeners will hear almost all of the show before they have to wait another week to hear our review of The Almost People. That’s right, our policy here at Traveling the Vortex is, if it’s aired in the U.K., we’re going to talk about it. So please keep that in mind when listening to this week’s show. However, there is still plenty for the North American folks to enjoy. We also review the subject of last week’s Seven Weeks for Seven Doctors, Vengeance on Varos, starring the Sixth Doctor and Peri. Surprisingly, there was no actual feedback this week, however, we do read out a couple of comments that are in reaction to BBC America and SPACE’s decision to delay Series Six for one week for the Memorial Day holiday. | 5/30/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

A Surprising Delight
Initially you'd expect this to be "just one more Doctor Who podcast" by a few Americans. I was SO surprised when I listened to these guys for the first time.
I don't quite get what the "Midwest Perspective" is supposed to be, but week after week the hosts provide insightful, knowledgable commentary that should make any Who fan proud.
The Best Interactive Podcast!
When I first started watching Doctor Who, I also went searching for podcasts because - hey, who doesn't love free content about their favorite shows? I sampled a lot of different ones because there are probably more Doctor Who podcasts than there are actual episodes of Doctor Who and Traveling the Vortex stood out to me, especially since I was - and still am, to a degree - a bit of a newbie. I love the interaction between Glenn, Shaun and Keith - I enjoy hearing Keith's first-time reactions to Doctor Who (especially to the classic stories because I am coming to many of these for the first time, myself) and there's just a lot of great interaction between the Vortex Boys and their listeners - between feedback and Friday Night Who and reviews - we've all become a great group of friends (and certainly are open to receiving more in the circle).
These guys Rock!
They are knowledgable, personable, and true lovers of SciFi. This podcast is a wonderful addition to any Whovian's Doctor Who experience. Stay true Vortex Boys!
