Right Wing Christian Homophobia

This is a poor-man's echo chamber of FOX News, The 700 Club, and the American Family Association, full of naivete and right-wing, homophobic bigotry. You would never imagine that Adam Graham, who projects such a nice guy image as the host of the "Great Detectives" and "Dragnet" podcasts, harbors such a narrow view of the world.

Take, for example, his episode "Moral Teachers." There is nothing inherently evil about cohabiting and homosexuality. How many of his "Great Detective" listeners fall into this category? How many of them are teachers, and would he have them fired, as he appears to advocate? Adam is also a Bible-believer. Would he have gays killed, as the Bible advocates?

AIDS is not a "gay disease." It is to some extent an unprotected-sex, promiscuity disease - something that cohabiting and gay marriage in exclusive, committed relationships would help to prevent. Lesbians have fewer STDs than straight people. Does this make them morally superior? This would seem to follow from his linking disease with morality.

What IS bad is the kind of judgmentalism he exhibits that drives people to gay bashing and gay teens to suicide.

It is sad to see the evil of Christian fundamentalism claim another innocent mind. "With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. GROW UP AUGUSTINE

With ALL the "causes" in the world and the short time on earth we have, THIS is what you do? I could never figure out why liberals listen to things they know they're going to disagree with and then whine about it. I don't know any conservatives that watch maddow or oberman but maybe that's because we don't waste our time with lies and propaganda. You see, when YOUR kind hear the truth you start foaming at the mouth, and carrying on, it's pathetic! That said, good work Adam, on all fronts. I'm a fan of the detective shows and just recently found this podcast and I will be a loyal listener.
