Who can bring you "All indie All The Time" like ButterFlies Radio? This station brings indie back to life, with new sounds of indie pop and rock artists. ButterFlies Radio broadens listeners' ears with artists from across the world.
Podcasting is not the same any more. ButterFlies Radio brings social media to life, with shows like "Twitter Tuesday". If you visit their website you can view photos of musicians that have been played on air. This podcast welcomes artists with open arms to submit their music. If you are a band or artist and mention the host Mark, on Twitter they will play one of your songs. The station invites listeners to follow them on Twitter, and if you do, they will give you a shout out live on air. As a non-profit station, they try to reach out to independent artists. Helping local and national artists' get their music heard is their mission. They generate profit only thru donations.
There are few stations that try to interact with their audience, and encourage indie artists like ButterFlies Radio.
