If only the show was a good as it avatar...

I'm all about spreading the progressive word, but i find this show quite un-structured. I generally like a show format where you have a MAIN host and surrogate co-host that backs up the main host. But Wake Up AMerica tends to have a free for all format like the VIEW where you have people talking over each other, but no one leading the conversation, and it up with allot ranting and raving. Though informative, and slightly entertaining I don't feel I come away with any greater intellectual understanding to real issues that American's face, but rather a every day dialog I could have with my friends only not as funny. And it's called Wake Up America, as if its some call to action, but I find the show to be re-active. I'd like news I can use.

Progressive "thinking"

I'm a conservative, but like to hear the ideas of the liberals/"progressives" because sometimes they're right, so I gave the show a try. I listened to almost an entire show and I heard lots of ideas (like socialism and communism are good, 9-11 was probably an inside job, Gore knows more about climatology than the climatologists, and all we need to do to bring about world peace is to get everyone together in a room and "don't let anyone leave until we just work it out" (I'm not kidding -- that was their suggestion)), but nothing to support those ideas. Have an original thought and some intellectually honest discourse and I might be interested.

BEST RADIO LISTENING IN A LONG TIME!

This show is so entertaining in the fact that they tell it like it is with no BS, just the facts in the today's world. Not like the large controlled cooperative news shows on TV & the radio. Keep it up ladies & Brian! Oh, tell Brian to talk louder (or turn up his mike a bit, VBG)! MikeB Lynn, MA
