    WLD #401: (The Emoji Episode)

The best reason to play DotA on the internet.

The WLD crew and community are the single best thing happening in the dota scene.

Like 99% of DotA players, I am trash at the game and have no hope of ever playing at a level that could objectively be called “good.” Nevertheless, the game has its hooks in me and I can’t bring myself to play anything else.

WLD’s weekly offering of jovial mediocrity is a relatable conversation that contains just enough useful content that I am able to grasp and apply it. Furthermore, their community is full of friendly people who are just as hopeless as everyone else at the game, and there is no better place on the internet to find groups and chat about the game with other reasonable human beings.

Listen to the podcast, join the discord, play on theme Thursdays, and never look back. That’s what I did, and I’ve never had more fun with DotA than I do now.

Thanks WLD. You’re the best.

Just good wholesome fun

These folks obviously like Dota and just want to have a good time. It makes me smile just listening to them have a good time and drop some Dota or life knowledge. I’d listen if you’re looking for people who help create a positive and toxic-free Dota playing environment.
